Dithiole derivativesR 0175 A Convenient Route to 4-Mercapto-1,2-dithiole-3-thiones from Terminal Alkynes.

— Title compounds (III) are prepared by deprotonation of terminal alkynes (I) followed by sequential treatment with carbon disulfide (II), sulfur and acid.
