Quality inclusive education for all students with disabilities still remains elusive. Despite supportive policy, creating and sustaining fully inclusive classrooms remains a challenge for administrators, educators and parents. FROM RHETORIC TO REALITY, A CONFERENCE ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION will provide an opportunity for professionals, individuals with disabilities and family members to come together and spend time exploring how to best meet the educational needs of students

in an inclusive manner. Discussion will focus on both policy and the practical translation of that policy into real inclusive practice at the classroom level. This conference will feature plenary and working sessions by nationally recognized educators who will challenge participants to fully understand the concept of inclusion and provide varying perspectives as seen by educators, parents and advocates.
