Parents and community members are reminded to visit the Long Valley Friday Folder @ www.lvfridayfolder.com where events are continually posted by our community volunteers. LVJWC ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST It's time for the LVJWC annual Photo Contest for students in 6th-8th grade! Please see entry form on our homepage, www.lvjuniors.org for details, rules and deadlines. All submissions should be turned in to the LVMS Art Teacher or dropped off at Rack's by May 9th 2019. Last year's winning submissions are currently on display at Racks Valley Boutique and Abigail Thomas Photography, both at 20 Schooleys Mountain Road. Prizes will be awarded for each category and overall. Print your entry form here - Photo Contest Entry Form 2019 MVCA BABY SITTING CLASS The MVCA will hold its final Babysitting Class of the school year on Tuesdays, June 4 and 11 from 6:00- 8:30pm at the MVCA building in the Valley Professional Center. Students eleven and older learn about child care, baby care, first aid and much more in a fun, interactive setting. This class comes just in time for those summer babysitting and mother's helper opportunities. Cost is $40. CHILDREN’S ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

SUMMER RECREATION 2019

CEP is available to children who have been classified by the Washington Township School System

as needing special education or related services or who have a 504 accommodation. A child does

not have to be participating in the Extended School Year (ESY) program to participate in Camp,

they just need to be classified or have a 504 accommodation for the current school year. Siblings of

classified/504 children are also welcome.

Children who are participating in the ESY program may attend CEP Summer Camp on a part-time

basis. Find out how it works for the ESY student by

CEP is not sponsored by or affiliated with the School District and cannot provide

transportation.

Week 1: July 1 – 3 (3-day week M, T, W)

**Week 1 only: 20% discount offered to new families

Week 2: July 8 – 12

Week 3: July 15 – 19

Week 4: July 22 – 25 (Camp Ends Thursday)

**You may sign up for one, two, three or all four weeks

Full time hours: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Part time hours (for ESY students): 11;00 am to 1:00 pm

CARE PROGRAM SEEKING PART-TIME ENRICHMENT TEACHERS, AFTERSCHOOL

The LVJWC is currently interviewing part-time "teachers" (NO teaching certificate required - just a love for kids!) for the afterschool CARE enrichment program. Share your love of art, yoga, dance, writing, sewing,

music, etc with the children of our community! These are paid positions, generally one afternoon a week, based on your schedule and curriculum. Please reach out to Donna Selvaggi, CARE program director, for more information. [email protected]
