A Vibrant Community
The Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce currently
represents over 700 businesses with thousands of employees
working in the northwest Houston area.
The Cypress-Fairbanks area is one of the fastest growing
communities in the northwest quadrant of Houston. It
encompasses 18 zip codes which include Cypress, the City of
Jersey Village and parts of Katy.
In the 2010 census, the population of this are was over 123,000
people with the estimated number of the population today to be
roughly 148,000 people.
Within the 186-square mile boundary of Cy-Fair, there is a vast
array of businesses which include small to medium size
organizations to Fortune 500 Corporations. Major industries in
the area include manufacturing, construction, oil & gas,
education, health services, and professional.
In 2010, average household income in Cy-Fair area was over
$85,517, as compared to $70,173 for U.S. households.
The median age of the citizens of the Cy-Fair area is 33.6
years, giving the area an energetic, youthful and industrious
feel.
Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District welcomed
