We use only the best materials. Titanium heat-resistant alloys for all the key parts of our titanium exhausts. Austenitic stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. Our carbon fibre is pre-impregnated and ultralight with high tensile strength and temperature resistance.

Akrapovič is a pioneer in developing and using technology to bring real benefits to the driver. Technology and its application are developed in-house. Hydroforming is one such process, where header tubes are molded by applying pressurized water. The material forms the ideal shape for optimum exhaust flow, with no loss in strength. Akrapovič is pioneering the plastic deformation of titanium alloys and also the most exacting and precise welding.

All Akrapovič facilities are state-of-the-art, where control is maintained over quality by designing and manufacturing all exhaust systems in-house. Special Titanium AlloyNot all titanium alloys are created equal. Akrapovič titanium exhaust systems are crafted from a proprietary titanium alloy. The titanium we use is produced exclusively for us and is three times stronger and more heat resistant than others available. Although our titanium alloy is considerably more expensive and difficult to form than more common “commercial” alloys, it ensures a product that’s substantially more durable, dimensionally more stable, and heat resistant. Our titanium is 40% lighter than stainless steel, helping improve handling and performance.

Austenitic Stainless SteelOur austenitic stainless steel is chosen for its strength, temperature, and corrosion-resistance properties.

The Best Carbon FibreOur carbon fibre is produced in-house, and is pre-impregnated and ultralight with high tensile strength and temperature resistance. Akrapovič uses the latest technology and machinery to produce carbon fibre, but final assembly and inspection is by hand with a meticulous approach to quality and finish. The benefits of our carbon fibre include weight reduction versus stainless steel, which can be as much as eight times lower. Other benefits include very high tensile strength and an extremely attractive finish illustrated particularly in the Akrapovič tailpipes.

Slip-On LineOur Slip-Ons are available in both stainless steel and our proprietary titanium with or without EC type approval depending on the model. These systems are designed and manufactured to fit the OEM exhaust system at or from near the rear axle. Our Slip-On systems help deliver improved horsepower and torque, the unmistakable sound of Akrapovič, and weight reductions, which can improve vehicle handling. For many models the unique Akrapovič Wireless Kit is an option, enabling you to adjust the exhaust sounds. Evolution LineOur Evolution line is also available in both stainless steel and in our proprietary titanium with or without EC type approval. Exquisite TailpipesThe tailpipes are the only visible part of the exhaust system, and so at Akrapovič we place special emphasis on them. We’re known for being a company that pays great attention to detail. This strength comes from our more than twenty years of experience with motorcycles, which have more exposed exhaust systems than cars.

When deciding on the right exhaust system configuration for a particular type of car, our engineers and designers also play with numerous solutions for the tailpipes. They consider the shape, the materials, and the best technological ap-proaches. This development process results in a large selection of tailpipes.

Akrapovič exhaust systems can be fitted with polished, sandblasted titanium or sporty carbon fibre tailpipes of various sizes. Every one of our exhausts is made in-house and we provide exclusive aftermarket tailpipes for some models such as the MINI Cooper S and the BMW X6.
