Characters

The characters were Nigel, his mom, his dad, his annoying sister, and his girlfriend named Della , who just moved into their neighborhood. His dad doesn’t want to make them look fancy so they can’t buy expensive things. His mom has old dresses and hangs them outside in the breeze. His sister, like I said, is annoying and has speed and strength.

SummaryDuring the story, Nigel was in middle

school. A new girl moved into the school and Nigel liked her. The real reason he likes her is that she has a big neck and Nigel wants to drain her blood. The bad thing was she had a boyfriend named Craig. Then they broke up and Nigel finally asked her out and she said yes. So they went on all those romantic dates and at the end, she was finally going to let him drink some of her blood. But now Nigel didn’t want to!

Conflict

The conflict was a P.E. teacher stole Nigel’s girlfriend Della. The P.E. teacher left them both notes for to come to the library on Saturday. Della was tied to a chair between two big bookshelves. The only way to save her life was to bring Nigel’s father back to P.E. teacher for him to be a captive . The P.E. teacher said if he moved even a inch he would get soaked with water from a super soaker 2000.

Resolution

The resolution was Nigel got strength and speed and beat the vampire P.E. teacher, by getting him in a corner in P.E. and said his amazing new catch phrase. The P.E.teacher got to know Nigel's catch phrase. The catch phrase was IS THIS A PUSHUP and the afraid P.E. teacher said yeah that’s a push up in a shrieked voice

Critic’s CornerThe highlight of the book was when Nigel had a

chance to bight Della’s neck but he didn’t because that wouldn’t be gentlemanly of him.

I loved the book so much I couldn’t stop reading it even though I hate reading so much!

I would recommend this book for my friend because it’s funny and has loads of blood in it.
