Imagine your own mythical creature.

Draw, colour and name it.

NAME: _____________________________________________________

Using household items (cutlery, pans, tubs, pens and pencils, paper, elastic

bands, keys), compose a piece of music to represent your creature.

You only need to compose a short phrase then you can repeat it in various ways

according to how your creature behaves e.g. slower, louder, in a different

order.

You could perform your composition for a member of your family.

Now you have created your own mythical creature, you should spread the word

about it!

Record yourself completing a news report about your mythical creature. You will

need to consider the different elements of your creature and how you can make

your story interesting enough for people to watch and listen. You can even use

your sketch from yesterday to show people what it looks like.

Once you have filmed your news report, post it into your portfolio on ClassDojo

so your teacher can see your exciting story!

Answer the following questions. You should consider your answers as points to

mention during your report.

Where was the creature found?
