TAC Action Plan 2014-2015
TAC Action Plan: To hold the Asia Pacific Young Researcher Awards and the
Outstanding Paper Awards for 2014 and 2015. To select and to promote the winners of 2014 and 2015.
Current Status: Completed the selection of 2014 Asia-Pacific Young
Researcher Award and Outstanding Paper Award winners. Honor awardees at APB General Meeting at Globecom 2014. Plan to promote the awardees through the APB newsletter
and website (e.g., by soliciting articles from the awardees). Prepare the call for application and nomination of the 2015
APB Young Researcher and Outstanding Paper Awards.
The 9th Asia-Pacific Young Researcher Awards
The IEEE ComSoc AP Young Researcher Award honors young researchers who have been very active in IEEE ComSoc publications and conference activities over the last 3 years (Jan. 2011 to Dec. 2013).
Eligibility: Age 35 or younger (i.e., born on or after 1978/01/01) Member of the IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific region.
Award Prize: ONE Best YRA with a certificate and US$500 and SEVERAL
Outstanding YRAs with a certificate and US$250.
