1.1Cathodic protection system troubleshooting equipment is described in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
1.2Site cathodic protection system troubleshooting equipment is located, and its use is explained in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
Rangeflange isolation tester, direct current voltage gradient meters, half-cells, data logger, cathodic protection system interrupter, pipe locater, multi-meter, current measuring swain clamp.
1.3Cathodic protection system troubleshooting equipment functions are explained to identify the type of information relayed in accordance with company procedures.

Use cathodic protection system troubleshooting equipment in the gas transmission industry.
Performance criteria
2.1Safety procedures relating to troubleshooting, and system interruption and isolation, are used in accordance with company procedures.
2.2Conditions are assessed to determine the need to use cathodic protection system troubleshooting equipment.
