Job Opening. St. Mark’s is seeking an experienced person to fill the Admin. Assistant for
Hospitality position in our front office. This part-time job (20-25 hours a week) includes
answering phones, greeting visitors, working with new members, and the Church Growth and
Hospitality Committee. Interested candidates must submit a cover letter and resume to

St. Mark’s is searching for a Children’s Music Leader who would like to lead our
children in music time on Sunday mornings. The choir would include children from
preschool through grade 6, but the director would work with only a portion of them (PreK-K,
Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6) each week for approximately fifteen minutes during
Sunday School. If you would like more information or are interested in applying for the
position, please contact the Coordinator of Music Ministries Susan Putt
Tuesday, July 9, Craft Circle meeting in Rm 17/18 from 9:00 a.m. until noon. St. Mark’s United
Methodist Women invites you to join our newly formed Craft Circle. In July and August, Craft
Circle will meet the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in rms 17/18 from 9:00 a.m. until
noon. Bring your craft ideas or examples of your favorite craft. You can work on a craft of
your own choosing or help others with a craft for the United Methodist Women’s craft fairs in
November and December. Please contact Bonnie Sargent (see directory) if you have any ques-
tions.
St. Mark's Nash Neighbors is collecting school supplies for Nash Elementary students. There
will be a blue bin in the courtyard each Sunday in July to collect your donations. Thank you for
your support of the children at Nash! Following is the list of supplies we are collecting:
. Hand Sanitizer, unscented, large pump bottles . Glue Sticks
. Black Dry Erase Markers . Pink Pearl Erasers
. Boxes of Tissues . Clorox Wipes
. Paper Towels
SOUL STATION Meals: Each Wednesday at Soul Station a meal is served at 5:45 p.m. that is
prepared for about 75 people by individuals, groups, and committees from St. Mark’s. Now, it’s
easier than ever to sign up at (www.umcstmarks.org), select RESOURCES from the main menu
and then select SOUL STATION MEALS to sign up to prepare a meal. Opportunities are available
in August, September, and October.
Super Summer Spectacular Soul Station-July Our special summer schedule continues on Wednesdays at 5:45pm. Come for a mid-week pick-me-up! Share a dinner, have communion, and then explore one of three topics. This Wednesday, July 10 the choices include: exploring the harp, learning about the Distorted Images of God, and The Biggest Scandal in the Old Testament.
