INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

The Drainmƛƴƻr should bepositioned on a firm levelsurface. The unit must belocated lower than the outflow ofthe appliances served so as toprovide a gravity fall into theunit.It is extremely important to sitethe Drainmƛƴor with access inmind in the event ofmaintenance being required.

ON DELIVERYRemove lid, check pump iscorrectly positioned andconnecting pipework has notbeen damaged in transit.

INLET CONNECTIONSInlets can be positioned on theDrainmƛƴƻNJ to suit your siterequirements. All inverts shouldbe brought into the tank (usingtank connectors) at the highestpossible level from the floor.(See above technical infoon minimum invert level)Ensure that the inflow of wateris not directed onto the floatmechanism

NOTE: no connections to be putthrough the lid as this inhibitseasy removal of the lid forcleaning tank. (Note: tankMUST be positioned in such away that lid can be removedeasily to allow access to tankinterior and pump cleaning)

DISCHARGE CONNECTIONThe tank has a 1.1/п” BSP malethread discharge outlet. (NRVsupplied is female thread).Plastic non return valve suppliedin the horizontal position, werecommend that this is fitted inthe vertical position on the firstlift. All pipework must be run inUPVC solvent weld.

IMPORTANT: Any bends in therising main must be slow radiusswept 90’s.If the discharge pipeworkconnects to a soil stack,manhole, etc. below thedischarge outlet of the tank,an anti syphon valve must befitted to the highest point ofthe discharge pipework.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONA qualified person inaccordance with the Institute OfElectrical Engineers Regulationsshould connect the unit to theappropriate mains supply takinginto account all the electricalinformation provided.

IMPORTANT: All pump systemsmust be used with an appropriatemotor rated protection device. VENTINGUnit is complete with an integratedcarbon vent. MAINTENANCEDepending on the environmentit is recommend that the unit becleaned every 4 weeks. It isrecommended that the unit berinsed through with warmwater and any fat or greasedeposits be removed for thetank. Service should be done on a6 to 12 month basis.Please contact our sales officefor a service and maintenancecontract.
