1. DEMO REQUIREMENTS

1.1. SYSTEM ACCESS INFORMATION

1.1.1.System Landscape

System Landscape, this Process is built in x SDC Lean Demo Showrooms (LSR v3)

Partner access to the SDC Lean Demo Showrooms is not yet available for partners and when it is available then please follow the notes below). Partners candownload SAP Business Planning & Consolidations, 10.1 version for NW from Service Marketplace and then restore the demo appset from the Partner EdgePortal (if demo appset is available for download). This script can be used to create your own demo landscape with your own scenario (using this script as astarting point).

1.3. PRE-DEMO STEPS

x Prior to your demo launch one the CR reports & whichever Webi report you are going to show either from BOE or MOBI. Bydoing so the reports will run much faster during your demo. (That first time you essentially wake up the servers.)

1.4. Demo Crystal Reports from PC via BOE (note: these reports are really intended for demoing with MOBI)

Note: The reports can be demoedwithout any maintenance even ifyou changed Entity descriptions inBPC Admin Console.

Reports will work as the IDs are unchanged. Entitydescriptions in the Prompts & Headers will match defaultsfor environment EPM10_DEMO_PL

If you want the prompts & headers to match the changes youmade in BPC Admin Consol refer to Step 1.7 in this script.

That user ID is setup for Single Sign-On(SSO)

1.5. Setup steps

1.5.1. Pre-requisites

To demo the reports via the SAP BusinessObjects Mobile BI (MOBI) app there a few requirements you must complete on the ipad. Please refer toinstructions from SAP IT.

Requirements to demo the Crystal Reports with MOBI on an ipad against your LSR instance:

x Your ipad or iPhone must be registered with SAP Afariax F5 Edge client app installedx SAP Mobile BI (MOBI) installedx SAP EPM Unwired installedx On the ipad - Settings General Configuration Profiles you must have valid unexpired profiles

The Mobile apps can all be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store


1.5.2. Connecting a Mobile Device to a Lean Demo Showroom or CSA Green Phoenix & creating connections in Mobile Apps

1.5.2.1. Creating a VPN Connection on iPad

1.5.2.1.1. Creating a connection to all your EPM Lean Showrooms

In order to connect to your Lean Showroom from your mobile device and here shown for an iPad you need to once create a VPN connection. After that youcan connect to all your Lean Showrooms with the one VPN connection.

x Open the F5 Edge Client on your iPad.

x At the bottom click on Settings

x Click on Add Configuration


x Enter a description e.g. SDC Lean Showroomsx Enter the Server address:

vpnvs.sapdemocloud.com

x Tap on Web Logon to switch it ONx Tap on Save

Connect to your Lean Showroom

To connect to your specific showroom you need to know the VPN user. This is always a concatenation of _SR

You will find this VPN User information in:

1) The notification email with subject: SAP Demo Cloud Self-Service Portal - Welcome to the Showroom2) The SDC Portal under My Showrooms > Your image. Here click on the link VPN Information.


To connect to an EPM Lean Showroom:

x Open the F5 Edge Clientx Select the VPN configuration you created for LSRsx Click on Connect

x Click on Accept for the Server Certificate Warning

x Enter the VPN Username for your showroomx Enter your SDC Master Passwordx Click on Logon

x You should now be connected and able to connectto the specific application / VMs in yourshowroom.


1.5.2.1.2. Creating a connection to SAP Demo Cloud for CSA-Green Phoenix

x Open the F5 Edge Client on your iPad.

x At the bottom click on Settings

There are two Webi Reports that can also be demoed. Thebiggest feature here is the ability to drill on the reports.

Probably best to show one Webi report or theother rather than both so you dont get draggedinto a discussion of the limitations of one reportvs the other.

The Product Analysis Sales Revenue BPCwebi report is a report includes a grid & piechart. Both can be drilled on.

x The report prompts you tochoose two filters.

x Tap the Done button.

x The report will now refresh.

For best performance refreshthe report once before yourdemo to wake up theservers.

The report has been set to refresh on open.This ensures the user receives the most up todata & meta data.

Also ensures, the report displays per whatevermeta data customizations you made asdescribed in Section 1.8 of this document.


The main thing to demo here is the usersability to drill on both the grid & chart.

User also has the ability to change the filters &rerun the report.

Below I will show the options for drilling &filtering.

In the grid you may drill onProducts, Entities, & Time.

e.g. Tap a Product columnheader. You get a box sayingDrill Down Product. Tap thatbox & the grid & chart drilldown on your choice.


You can also drill on Entity(Business Unit) or Time.

When tap on an intermediatelevel like Region or Quarter youare presented with the option todrill back up or to drill furtherdown.

When you tap on a base levelmember you would only get drillup.

If you re-prompt the report bytapping the filter icon in the upperright corner you will be notifiedthe filter will reset the report tothe starting point.


x Tap the Filter icon

x To change the Category, tapthe category filter.

You are presented with a listof the categories in theenvironment.

The applicable categories forthis report are:

o Actualo Current Budgeto Current Forecast

Tap the category you wish to rerun the reportfor rather than the currently selected category.

x To change the Currency, tapthe currency filter.

Since we are reporting acrossmultiple entities with varyinglocal currencies the applicablecurrencies for this reportwould be the two globalreporting currencies weestablished in thisenvironment:

o Euroo United States Dollar

x After making sections, tap theDone icon.

Tap the currency you wish to rerun the reportfor rather than the currently selected currency.


Here is the result for example of re-runningthe report for Actual & Euro.

x Tap Tools icon that looks likeGear in the upper right corner

You can email other users.

You can also annotate thereport before you email it.

x Tap Annotate


x In the upper right corner is atoolbar that gives you variousoptions for annotating thereport.

x With the first icon highlighted(the pen icon) you can useyour finger to draw a messageon the report as you see inthis example.

x Tap the microphone icon inthe toolbar

x Record a comment about thereport then tap Done in theRecording dialog box

x When you are finishedannotating, tap the Done iconin the toolbar.

x You are now presented withoptions for sharing the report.

x Tap email.

You also have the ability to drill on the chartRather than drilling on the grid.

The Selected Slice shows theamount & % of the pie in thecorresponding details box.

x You can drill on the SelectedSlice in the Pie Chart.

x To choose another slice, dragthe blue circle that rings thechart to a new slice.

x To drill on a slice double tapthe selected slice.

x A toolbar pops up at thebottom of the screen. Tap theicon showing 3 downwardfacing arrowheads.


You are presented with an optionto Drill Down &/or Drill Updepending on where the selectedslice falls in the hierarchies of theProduct & Entity dimensions.

x Tap the selection box to Drill.

x Tap a dimension to drill on.

x Tap a member to drill on.

MOBI then refreshes the report.


x To drill back up double tap onthe selected slice.

x The toolbar reappears at thebottom of the screen. Tap theicon with 3 downward facingarrowheads.

You are presented with a choiceto either Drill back up on thedimension you just drilled downon or to Drill down on the otherdimension.


x In this example I drill down onEurope.

x Here I see the results of thatfurther drill down.

I can reset the report either bydrilling back up on the dimensionsor by re-prompting the reportwhich will reset the report to itsdefault filters.

You also have the option ofshowing the report -Product Analysis Multi-Account - BPC

Consider you may want to onlyshow one Webi report or theother so as to avoid gettingpossibly dragged into a discussionduring the demo about limitationsof each report. e.g. -

x The Sales Revenue report does not consume a BEx querythus it does not understand BPCs hierarchies.(properties are used as a work-around on simplehierarchies, it cant handle complex ones like theACCOUNTP dimension)

x The Multi-Account report does consume a BEx query &thus can understand BPCs hierarchies but Webi doesnot support an integrated drillable chart along with thegrid produced by the BEx query.


x Tap the Product Analysis Multi-Account BPC report.

x The prompt comes up. ClickDone to refresh the report.

Reports using BEx queries have twomodes. In the first one if you drill thegrid does not expand in size. Youwould need to scroll within the grid.

Drilling works better if you change themode so the grid auto-expands.

x Double tap in the gray spacebelow 2011 TOTAL.

You will see the grid swing around &the filter choices shown above thegrid disappear


x You can Drill Down on anyrow or column memberwhere you see a right facingarrow

x You can collapse any row orcolumn member where yousee a downward facingarrow

x To re-prompt the report tapthe filter icon


x Change the Category.

x The prompt comes up withthe currently chosen category.

x If you choose anothermember like in the far rightimage, you will need tode-select the prior choice.

x I have now de-selected theprior choice.

x Click the Done icon.

x In the far right image we seethe new category selection.

x Changing the Currency worksthe same way. If you changethe selection you mustde-select the prior selection.

x To refresh the report tap theDone icon.


Changing the Account filter is more complex as thisis a hierarchy where as Category & Currency are flat.

x Use the right arrow toadvance down the hierarchyas far as you wish to go.Choose a different account.

x You then need to tap the Backicon to go back up thehierarchy. Like with Category& Currency the prior selectionneeds to be deselected.

x Once you reach the NetIncome level tap Back oncemore & you will be where itdisplays all filter selections.

x Tap the Done icon to refreshthe report.


1.7 Demo EPM Unwired from Ipad

Note: The first time only you connect to BPC NW with a 10.1 connection type you will be prompted to installBootstrapper. Accept the prompts & allow it to install.


Positioning Statement for EPM Unwired

Mobile Analytics revolutionizes the business by allowing every person in the organization to get answers they need about theirbusiness from anywhere. Businesses are able to get more people beyond finance engaged in critical business processes likeplanning to help drive better results.

SAP is the first vendor to deliver mobile performance management EPM Unwired with EPM 10. Mobility continues to be amajor focus of investment for the EPM applications as part of our, mobile first strategy.

Today, the data stored in EPM applications, and in some cases the EPM applications themselves, can be accessed on all of themajor mobile devices. This allows users to be untethered from their desktops and provide business answers anytime,anywhere. The first version of EPM Unwired will enable customers to monitor their corporate Strategic Goals through the useof Enterprise Insight, as well as view BPC Web Reports and modify BPC Web Input Schedules.

Moving forward, the EPM applications continue to invest in the mobility platform, working with the Sybase Unwired Platformand Analytic teams to build custom applications that provide further functionality for the EPM user base.


EPM Unwired displays the Input Forms & Reports that are marked as Favorites for the user in the environment shown.

Tap the environment shown in black border at the bottom of the screen to choose the environment you want.

You need to reduce your forecast for Advertising Expenses in Q4 in those markets.


x Im going to reduce the forecast for the 4 business unit we have rolling up to Emerging Markets

o Tap the cell for Mexico/Oct 2014

o Drag your finger from Mexico/Oct 2014 to Australia/Dec 2014

o Tap one of the highlighted cells

o Tap Editor


o I want to reduce the forecast by 10% so the easiest way to do that is multiply the amounts by 0.9 Unwired based on your highlighting of cells says it will adjust 12 cells by your actions with the Editor Tap the blue multiply key X Tap .9 Tap OK


Here we see highlight in light blue the results of the adjustment

o Tap the Save Data to update BPCs database.

1.8 Meta Data Synchronization of Crystal Reports if you updated descriptions of Entities in BPC Admin Console

Meta Data displayed in the rows of the reports will update automatically the next time you query the database with the report. However, theEntity descriptions you change in the BPC Administration Console will NOT automatically update the Prompt List in the Income Statement &Balance Sheet. The Headers of those reports will also not automatically update.

The steps to update the entity descriptions in Crystal Reports however are quite easy & take no more than 5-10 minutes.

Launch Crystal Reports 2011

For Lean Demo Show Room Instances Launch Crystal Reports 2011 from the shortcut in the Favoritesfolder.


Open the report Income Statement BPC CRLean Demo Showroom instances

Click the Open icon in Crystal Reports standard toolbar.Click the Enterprise button.

Login to System: CLDVMXWI00221demoadm/sbo123

Open Income Statement BPC CR.rpt in the folder shown above(EPM\BPC EPM10_PL)

Double click the Parameter Field ZVAR_ENITY in the field explorer to the right of the report


Update the description in the popup window

Double-clicking description will change it to the Edit mode.

Change the description to match whatever you changedon the entity dimension to the description in the BPCAdmin Console.

Repeat for any other entities listed.

Click ok


Next update the description which shows in the report header.

In the Field Explorer field explorer to the right of the report, find the Formula Field - Entity

Double click it to edit the formula, and change the text in the script.


Change the descriptions in the red box to match the descriptions in as you changed them in the BPC Admin Console.

Click Save & Close button.

If you wish to change the initial entity or period for which the report comes up, refresh here in CR 2011 before saving the report.

If you dont want to change the initial entity &/or period you can skip page 68


To refresh click Report, Refresh Report Data Choose Prompt for new parameter values

Make your selections Username - BPC01 Password sbo123Click - Finish


Save the report

Repeat steps (1.7.2 1.7.4) for Balance Sheet BPC CR.rptThe Operating Report BPC CR does not require maintenance as there is no Prompt for Entity & the base level entities are displayed in the rows of the report.


To ensure you are able to refresh the reports you just updated successfully from BOE & MOBI next you should check the settings for it in CMC.

From the Favorites folder on the Citrix Desktop launch BI CMC Login demoadm/sbo123

Click Folders


Navigate to All Folders\EPM\BPC EPM10_PL

Right click on each report you just updated in CR 2011. Choose Database Configuration


Set the parameter for viewing & scheduling the report as shown below.

User = BPC01Password = sbo123

Click Update


1.9 Meta data update in BPC Admin console if showing Webi report Product Analysis Sales revenue

This report does not use a BEx query. Therefore, it cant leverage the parent level members of dimension. We worked around this limitation byadding some properties on the Time, Entity, & Product dimensions. We can do this because those dimensions have simple hierarchies. Because theACCOUNTP dimensions hierarchy is complex we cant use this property work-around for that dimension. Thus we have limited the account in thisreport to Base member Sales Revenue. We are not using BEx in this report so that we can have a grid & a chart integrated together in a reportwhere you can drill on either. That ability is NOT supported when Webi is consuming a BEx query.

If you did not make Meta Data changes to the ENTITY & PRODUCT dimension in EPM10_DEMO_PL you do not need to make any updates thereport before your demo.

If you made Meta Data changes to the ENTITY & PRODUCT dimension in EPM10_DEMO_PL & you dont care if the MOBI Sales Revenue reportmatches your changes you just run the report in your demo. It yields a report using the standard Entity & Product descriptions inEPM10_DEMO_PL.

If you made Meta Data changes to the ENTITY or PRODUCT dimension and wish to have the Sales Revenue report match your changes follow theinstructions in steps 1.8.1 1.8.3 to synch your report with the changes you made in BPC Admin Console.

Note: No updates are necessary to the Multi-Account report that consumes a BEx query

1.9.1 Update to Entity dimension

This step is only necessary in the following instance;

You changed the Description of these Entities E01, E02, E03 & you want the MOBI reports to show the new descriptions ratherthan the standard descriptions.

In BPC Admin, update the REGION property of Entity dimension for the BASE members that roll-up to those 3 Parent levelmembers. Change the value in for each Base member to be the same as the Description for the Parent it rolls up to in PARENTH1.


Now for example lets say you change the description of E01 to Americas & E02 to EMEA.

If you want the Webi report to also use those descriptions (and not the ones shown above) change the Base Members REGION property to match thechange. So in this example you would change the members whose region shows North America to Americas. Change the ones who show Europe to EMEA.

1.9.2 Update to Product Dimension

This step is only necessary in the following instance:

You want the Base member products to roll-up to something other than Product A, Product B, Product C

Similar to with Entities change the Product Group Properties of the Base members to what you want them to roll up.

You want the Base member products to roll-up to something other than Product A, Product B, Product C

Similar to with Entities change the Product Group Properties of the Base members to what you want them to roll up.


1.9.3 Update the Total Level Descriptions in the Webi Report

Because Webi without using BEx cant retrieve E00 & P00 the top level members of the Entity & Product dimensions instead on the report they are displayed aslocal Report Totals that add up the amounts in the columns & rows. To update the descriptions to match what you changed the descriptions of E00 & P00 in theBPC Admin Console you need to update the totals on the Webi Report.

Open BOE in the Favorites folder on the Desktop.

Click DocumentsClick FoldersExpand Public Folders

SDCExpand folder EPMClick folder - BPC EPM10_PL

Click report Product Analysis Sales Revenue BPCRight click on Product Analysis Sales Revenue BPC choose Modify


Click Ok

Click the row total description.


Change the description to whatever you made the description of E00 in theEntity dimension in BPC Admin Console.

Click the green checkbox

If you changed the top level of the Product dimension P00 follow the same procedure to update the column total.


Save the report.

You have now completed updating the report.
