PULSE OUTPUTS (ADDITIONAL MODULE)
NB:The lifetime of this relay is 108 opera-tions.
2 reed relays (100 V - 0.5 A - 10 VA)available on the Diris Ap provide apulse for active, reactive and appa-rent energy. Values and duration canbe programmed (see § program-ming).
COMMUNICATION (ADDITIONAL MODULE)
Recommendations:You should use a shielded twisted pair(LIYCY type). In a disturbed environ-ment or large network (in terms oflength) we recommend the use of 2shielded pairs (type LIYCY-CY). In thiscase, one pair is used for the + andthe –, and another pair, where the 2wires are short-circuited, for the 0 V.A repeater (1 channel) or an arrestor(4 channels) should be used if youintend to exceed the distance (1500m) and/or maximum number (31) ofDiris. Please contact us for moreinformation.
NB:A 120 ohm resistance (found on theadditional module) must be fixed atboth ends of the link.
Other solutions are available (modem, optical fibre, etc.). Please contact us
For standard configurations, anRS 485 link is used to connect up to31 Diris Ap with a PC or a PLC overa distance of 1500 metres, usingJBUS/MODBUS© protocol.

COMMUNICATION (OPTION)The JBUS/MODBUS© used by theDiris Ap involves a dialogue using amaster-slave hierarchical structure. There are two possible dialogues:• the master communicates with a
slave (Diris Ap) and waits for itsreply
• the master communicates with allthe slaves (Diris Ap) without waitingfor their reply.
The mode of communication is theRTU (Remote Terminal Unit) usinghexadecimal characters of at least 8bits.
Slave address Function code Address Data CRC 16
According to the JBUS/MODBUS©
protocol, transmission time must beless than 3 silences, i.e. the emissiontime of 3 characters so that the mes-sage is processed by the Diris©.
NB:When selecting slave address 0, amessage is sent to all the instrumentspresent on the network (only for func-tions 6 and 16).
To correctly use information, the fol-lowing functions are important:
3 : to read n words (maximum128).
6 : to write one word.8 : to diagnose exchanges bet-
ween the master and the slavevia meters 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
16 : to write n words (maximum128).

TABLE OF VALUES WITHOUT ALLOCATED CURRENT AND VOLTAGE WINDING RATIOS
NB:Values should be multiplied by the fol-lowing coefficient:
CT = 100 = 20 VT = 20000 = 2005 100
CT x VT = 20 x 200= 4000
Powers will be multiplied by 4000 (ifthere is no VT, then VT = 1), currentsby 20 and voltages by 200.
