Irving Katuna turned 80 on January 12, 2009, and his children gave him a birthday party. He gave a 45-minute presentation of his participation in the 1965 civil rights movement in Selma, Alabama. It was the highlight of his life to meet Martin Luther King and Ralph Bunche. Irv is available for speaking engagements in the San Francisco Bay Area.
