  • Throughout history, cultures have tightly grasped their dearly held beliefs. These beliefs are so commonly accepted, so religiously observed, that to question them is worse than sacrilege.

Our culture is no different. The beliefs we cling to become scams leveraged against us and hold so much power that they can destroy our lives before our very eyes, yet we dare not question them. These scams assisted in the crisis of 2007.

When the global financial crisis hit in 2007, many people clung even tighter to these beliefs as their jobs dissolved and their retirements disappeared.

The faith in the scams overtook human logic.

Rather than let go of their beliefs, most people clenched their fists and waited for the crisis to pass, praying their political leaders would solve this global crisis and that happy days would return.

Unfortunately, the people who clung to the relics of job security, savings, retirement plans, and home ownership would be those who were most ravaged by the global financial storm.

A brave few know they must change their mindset. Yet without a strong financial education, they do not know what to do or how to change.

The mission of the Rich Dad Scams is to take you from the established mindset about money to the enlightened mindset, to put a bullet to the head of bad financial advice, and help you take charge of your financial future.

    Robert Kiyosaki

  • The future holds nothing but potential. We have all the tools we need to pursue the lives

    of our dreams...

Oh! Yea it is. Is she your daughter?

    Good speech, very uplifting.

  • When youve been to enough of these, you learn to appreciate the good ones.

Yea, and none of that Websters

    dictionary defines..."

Heh... good god, youre right, those are the worst offenders. If youre smart

enough to be valedictorian, youd think theyd be able to write a couple

    minutes of meaningful sentiment.

Though, theyve worked hard all these years, cant blame them for a

    bit of senior-itis.

    Which ones yours?

No, just saying... its a good speech.

Powerful, concise, inspiring. No stolen movie quotes or mediocre sophomore poetry.

  • Itsa big moment.

Yea... (sigh), but we got here. All that work and

    time.

    And money...

UGH... youre not kidding. Trying not to think about that part.

The loans come due in a few months. But shes got a job set up already.

    Shell be fine.

Shes three rows back, Im just filming now to get the

speech and make sure I dont miss her walk.

  • Lets hope.

    Yea... lets hope.

So, did your kid get some kind of scholarship or something?

OH!, Im sorry. That sounded harsh.

I just meant, lets hope everything goes well for her ...

    for all of them.

  • Scholarship? Heh... any child of mine wouldnt have much luck with that.

I was never terribly adept at test taking or book learning.

We dont have to takecare of them anymore.

No, no scholarships for me and mine.

Couldnt have said it better. NOT OUR PROBLEM.

They belong to their bosses now. From now 'til the day they die.

Well, itll be worth it. We can stop worrying about them.

  • Excuse me.

learning to follow the rules. Which is good...

Oh, you know how it is. You spend your entire childhood in school,

    The world needs order.

  • Listen pal...

If you give any animal too much freedom, it goes feral, causes trouble, or starts wanting

    more than its share.

But its all training.Just like any good

    work animal.

Again... no offense intended, its just the result of a well built

system. Its how we keep things tidy.

  • broken boys and girls.

So we give them praisefor the following rules

Sit still, raise your hand Read chapter 1,Read chapter 2,

    Read chapter 3... WELL DONE!

Can you repeat the text from memory?

    Heres your gold star.

    Cant? You must be broken.

Dont worry, well put you in aclass with all the other...

  • Just keep grinding away. Years and Years of Sit, Stand, Recite, heres your Grade. And, if youre a good little student, well

let you go to college. Better hope you get in, unless you want to be some kind of

    human trash.

    ahem personal entertainment.

    ditch diggers, or

    Pump jockeys,

  • But, we dont have to worry about them. They made it, right?

Nothing but smooth sailing from here on.

I mean 60% of them have jobs waiting,

too bad for the other 40%

But hey, there are 1500 graduating. So thats only 600 in this class alone

    thatll be moving home.

Couldnt find a job in your field? Too bad, wheres our

money? Broke? Too bad, wheres our money? Fell Ill?

Too bad, wheres our money? Dead?...Your folks co-signed

the loan right? GREAT! Wheres our money?

At least they wont be empty handed.

Theyve got their degree and education.

Im sure theyll findsomething soon enough.

Lets hope, huh? After all, theyve all got six figure

    loans nipping at their heels.

Those studenty loans are really something.Attractive interest rates,at least to a kid with no credit.

They make it sound like a hell of a deal.

"Cant put a price tag on a first-rate education, an investment in your future." They conveniently leave

out that the loans are impossible to escape.

Even bankruptcy wont get you free.

  • And when its all over, The Government and Big

Business have their latest crop of drones.

But hey, theyll get a job sooner or later and then theyll be making plenty of money.

Enough to pay back those loans... every month, for 20 or 30 years.

Its brilliant! The government rakes in millions by the minute and they get an entire generation of kids to

beg for the privilege to pay.

  • Every day, for the next 60 years...

    Wake up...

    fight traffic...

    fight traffic...

grind out 10 hours a day...

    punch out...

    cook dinner...

    ignore the kids...

    watch reality TV... repeat.

    sleep 6 hours...

  • Oh, no no no.... I apologize. I clearly gave you the wrong

    impression.

Im not against any of this. Its all WONDERFUL. Its a ... a thing of beauty.

Like watching the opening night of a ballet youve choreographed. Like taking the last brush

stroke ona masterpiece. When you getto stand back and say, Its done,

    and its perfect.

Weve done a great job of teaching them not to step out of line, not to make waves, not to think different, and never EVER try to make the world and money work for them.

Thats not for these kids, thats for...

    Someone Richer, someone smarter,

    someone else.OK, PAL!

If youre so damn set againstthe whole thing, whats YOUR plan?

Whats YOUR kid gonna do thats so damn different, so DAMN SMART?!

And as for MY KID... I dont have one.

Im just here to watch the plan unfold...

  • When I was young, my poor dad always told me the best path to success was to go to school. The problem was that my poor dad was one of the most educated people I knew, but he was always worried about money and unhappy in his work.

My rich dad on the other hand didnt have a college degree. Yet he was very wealthy and successful. Rich dad said, School teaches you to be an employee. If you want to be rich, dont count on school.

The scam that school will make you a success is perpetuated everywhere and all the time. What will make you successful is not school but education , learning how money works and how to make it work for you.

Education, particularly in America, doesnt teach students how to live or be self-sufficient. It makes us workers not innovators. School recognizes only one type of intelligence, book smarts. If you arent book smart, you are very quickly labeled stupid. As a child, I was labeled stupid. But I wasnt stupid. I was just interested in different things. And I was bored.

My rich dad wasnt book smart. He had street smarts, which he used to become very rich.

My poor dad thought school was incredibly important. But what did he gain? He struggled financially most of his life.

Its time to start thinking for yourself. Dont fall for the scam of higher education. Instead, start your financial education. This is your path to financial freedom.
