MAN MACHINE INTERFACE – MMI

Selection of RUN Mode in the Interact Application Manager

• Restart of MMI (backside on/off switch)

→ One switch is present in the backside of the MMI. It permits to switch on

and off the device (Supply 24VDC).

→ When the MMI is switched on, the Application Manager of Interact startsautomatically and the following window appears.

MAIN MENU

→ By default, no any application is selected.

→ The application is the program file corresponding to the PLC. It contains the

views, alarms definition and control configuration.

N.B.: Switch off the MMI when all the applications are stopped, and the monitor is in

DOS mode.

• Selection of application (example 25GTA)

APPLICATION SELECTION

→ To select the application, click the cell ‘SELECT APPL’.→ A window with all the applications available in the MMI appears.

→ Select the application chosen.

→ After selection, screen will be changed to the MAIN MENU

• Selection of mode (RUN/PROG mode)

→ In the Main Menu, Current Mode is displayed: Program or RUN.

→ To go to the views, Application Manager should be in RUN mode

To change the mode:→ Click once the button ‘RUN / PROG MODE ‘

The following text appears:

→ One moment…

When the Mode changed to RUN, a new button appears to the left of ‘RUN/PROG

MODE’ in order to select the modules.

• Selection of module (PTM)

→ Click on the new cell ‘SELECT MODULES’

→ Three buttons will be displayed: PTM, GMM and AMM .→ Clicking on PTM , the control views window will be displayed.

Exit from Interact Application Manager to DOS

• Exit from Interact AM to DOS

MENU View

→ Click ‘Go to AM’

→ The Window of Interact Application Manager appears with the Main Menu.

→ Select ‘ EXIT INTERACT ’ and ACCEPT .Now, the system is in DOS application.

• Return from DOS to Interact AM

→ The only way to restart AM without switching off the monitor is byconnecting a keyboard at the backside of MMI.

Required commands are:

C:> cd interact Enter

C /interact :> cd am Enter

C/interact/am:> am Enter

Following this the application manager window appears.
