John has over 16 years experience in the IT industry and with large government projects. He has
held a variety of roles, including CEO of the U-START project office for the Ministry Of
Education (MOE), the largest entrepreneurial competition in Taiwan, CEO of the Innovation &
Incubation Center for Chinese Culture University, and Vice President for the Chinese Digital
Content Association.
Prior to his current roles, John has eight years experience with the Information Technology
Research Institute (ITRI) and the Institute of Information Industry (III), which are the largest and
second largest IT research institutes for the Taiwanese government, and has led some spin-off and
startup business with joint-venture investment projects.
John was also a software consultant for Microsoft Taiwan, IBM Taiwan, and
PricewaterhouseCoopers Taiwan during his earlier career. John has a Doctor of Business
Administration degree from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK, and a MBA from National
Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan.
