Sir, I am directed to state that it is proposed to fill up three vacancies in the post of Deputy Director,

Group 'A', Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the pay scale of Rs. 10000-15200/-(as per 5t CPC), equivalent to Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- as per 6 1h CPC, equivalent to Level-11 as per 71h CPC in various Central Poultry Development Organisations at Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar and Bangalore (CPDO&TI) and Central Poultry Performance Testing Centre, Gurgaon under Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries by Deputation (Including Short Term Contract). The field of selection and the educational qualification for the post are as under:

Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Research Institutions or Autonomous bodies - (a)(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis: or (ii) having five years service rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 8000-13500/- in the parent cadre or Department. (b) Possessing educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits, which are as follows:

(i) Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Veterinary Institute or equivalent as mentioned in Schedule-I or Schedule-11 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984. (ii) Should have registered with Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council. (iii) Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Poultry Science or Animal Genetics and Breeding or Animal Nutrition or Animal Production and Management from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent. (iv) Five years experience in management of large size poultry farm.

Noiei Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Note 2- The qualifications regarding experience are reLaxabLe at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to

fill up the pasts reseved tar them.

Desirable , Doctorate Degree in Genetics preferably in Poultry Genetics.

Note 1- The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct Line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation, similarLy, deputationists shalt not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Note 2- [Period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shalt ordinarily not to exceed four years. The maximum age Limit for appointment by deputation (Including Short Term Contract) shalt be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications].

2. The Terms and Conditions of the deputation wilt be solely governed by DoP&Ts O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010.

3. Application in triplicate, in the enclosed Performs along with the complete up-to-date CR dossiers (Last five years) of officers who are witting to be considered and can be spared in the event of their selection. may be sent to this Department. While forwarding applications, it may be verified and certified that particulars furnished by the candidates are correct and that no vigilance case is either pending or contemplated against them and their integrity is beyond doubt.
