Session 1:
- Prof. Ravindra Dastikop gave the detailed description of cloud computing: power and potential.
recent trends in Big Data such as Google Maps, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Forms, etc.
Session 2:
-Also described about cloud computing fundamentals.
Session 3:
-Hands on session by Prof. Ravindra Dastikop, SDMCE, Dharwad, Karnataka on Cloud computing for
teaching and learning. Also practice on Google Drive, Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Books, Google
apps, Blogs etc.
Day 3 (07/07/2016)
Session 1:
Prof. Pravin Hanchinal briefed us about cloud computing virtualization and recent technologies.
Session 2:
Also conducted Hands-On Session on VM of CloudEra.
Session 3:
Prof. Pravin Hanchinal gave Introduction to Private Cloud and hands on installation to private
cloud framework. Using Hortonworks sandbox.
Day 4 (08/07/2016)
Session 1:
Prof. Mayur Patil briefed us about the Cloud Computing- Google App and Compute Engine, AWS,
IBM BlueMix.
Session 2: Hands on training on IBM BlueMix, Google App Engine, and developing cloud
computing projects.
Session 3: Introductory session on Cloud Computing Research Directions.
Day 5 (09/07/2016)
Session 1: This session was conducted by Prof. Ravindra Dastikop, he gave Introductory session on
Internet of things.
Session 2: Also session on Cloud SOA and Saas.
Session 3: Hands-on with Aadhar APIs by Prof. Mayur Patil.
Day 6(11/07/2016)
Session 1: Hands-on session with IoT-1 using Arduino by Prof. Mayur Patil.
Session 2: Hands-on session with IoT-2 by Prof. Mayur Patil. He described various IoT based
projects which can be implemented easily using big data approach.
Session 3: Prof. Mayur Patil briefed us on Data Analytics using IBM IoT Real Time Insights.
Day 7(12/07/2016)
Session 1: Mr. Sachin Sadare gave an overview of Digital Technologies.
Session 2: Introductory session by Mr. Sachin Sadare on IoT.
Session 3: He also briefed us about different application and Use cases of IoT- Retail, agriculture,
healthcare and others. Conducted group activity and case study for better IoT understandings.
Day 8(13/06/2016)
Session 1: Hands-on by Mr. Sachin Sadare on Arduino Board and other small projects.
Session 2: He briefed us about understanding Arduino Board layout and architecture.
Session 3: Also hands-on Interfacing sensors and circuit building cloud connectivity. Execution of sample
programs and Use-cases IoT testing – Tools and Methodologies.
Day 9 (14/07/2016)
Session 1 & 2: Dr. Amiya Tripathi discussed IoT, Data Science and Big Data in Agriculture and
Healthcare perspective.
Session 3:.He discussed about various other applications of IoT, Data Science and Big Data.
Day 10 (15/07/2016)
Session 1: Mr. Mohan Pawar briefed us on Introduction on Rcontainers- Docker.
Session 2: Hands on session- Create your web application with Docker by Mr. Pawar.
Session 3: Discussion on Micro-service architecture using docker and “WhyDockeristhefutureofCloud
Computing”byMr.Pawar.
