Tips for Portrait Photography:•Have fun! Don't work too hard to position your subject. •Get close. Fill the camera's viewfinder or LCD display with your subject to create pictures with greater impact.•Take candid pictures to show them working, playing, leaning against a banister chatting, or relaxing.

Using Scene Mode:
• Choose one of the automatic modes to use based on your needs (close-up, landscape, sports, etc.)

Tips for taking these types of pictures:• Remember great pictures are closer than you think.• In Macro mode, there is a very shallow depth of field.•Macro mode requires that you are very close to your subject.• Keep in mind the parts of the picture that needs to be in focus.•A flexible tripod is a great tool to use to get close to the ground.

Capturing Light & Shadow:•Consider how light and shadow can affect the mood•Qualities of light that influence the image are color, direction, intensity •Including shadows can make an ordinary composition more interesting.

Tips for using the Rule of Thirds:•Don’t try too hard!•Expect the unexpected!•Visualize the grid while taking the pictures.•Keep in mind the part of the picture that needs to be in focus.•A tripod can help with keeping the camera still, so that the focus of your camera can capture the image that you want.

P7- Night ModeUsing Night Mode:•Use night mode or select a slower shutter speed.•Steady the camera with a tripod.•Take a number of shots at different aperture and shutter speed combinations. •Try starting with an aperture of F4.0 or F5.6 for best depth of field and adjust shutter accordingly.

Tips for Atmospheric Photography:•Time of Day. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon are the best times for taking outdoor photos.•Find An Eye-Catching Feature. You should try to find a feature to build your composition around.•Use the landscape mode. This camera mode can be the best way to capture that sense of isolation and distance the sky creates.
