Study of Evangelism Msg: Success and Failure of Evangelism

The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. 1. God founded everything on earth upon the seas and waters. (1) First evangelism ministry (judgement) (Ge 6:1-20) (2) First missions ministry (disaster) (Ex 2:1-10, 14:1-13) (3) First trade missions (2Ch 9:22-28) 2. Great prayer and great resolution is needed in the marine, fishery professionals industry. (1) Since crossing a river is evangelism and crossing an ocean is missions. ① 7 disasters and marine, fishery business ② Discoveries in America, Europe and the marine, fishery industry ③ Korea's growth and the marine, fishery industry (2) Since we must go to "Rome". (Ac 27:10-25) (3) Since we must go to "Spain". (Ro 15:23) 3. Three things must come out to fulfill God's will. (1) Answer of uniqueness (Ac 1:1) (2) Answer of only (Ac 1:3,8) (3) Answer of the summit (Ac 2:1-47)

◆ Introduction . ▶The Early Church members did not boast of their success. It was because to them, that was not success. A representative figure among the successful was Paul. Philippians 3 records this well. Our Remnants and believers must learn from him. Paul said that the success he achieved was not success at all. This was because there was something behind that success that was more important. He didn’t just think that it was not success; he considered it rubbish. This was because he knew the surpassing greatness of Christ Jesus. He said that he only had one desire and that was to be found within Christ. He said that the only plan that he had was to grab hold of that which Christ Jesus took hold of him. His hope was the hope of being called heavenward. He also said that his true citizenship was in heaven. ▶Today, we see two different sets of individuals. We see Cornelius and Simon the tanner. These two individuals contrast sharply with each other. What is the covenant that you must hold onto today? What is true success? ◆ Main discourse 1. Solving my spiritual problems is true success. ▶If you succeed without God, hardships have no choice but to come. This is because the life and death of man is in the hands of God. We must also discover the talents that have come from God through God. (1) We must accurately understand the Gospel. At this time, our spiritual problems are solved. (2) More importantly, we must discover God’s plan for us. 2. True success is for us to be used by God in order to block the disasters that have no choice but to come into this earth. (1) Imprinted with something new – There are things that are imprinted in us. However, there is only one way to change what has been imprinted. That is the filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). (2) From this moment on, we are imprinted with something new. (3) At this time, I discover my true self. 3. Knowing the problems of the entire world (missions) is true success. (1) Cornelius and Simon the tanner were given the prime opportunity to relay the one thing that could block the spiritual problems of Rome. (2) This is the mission home. (3) This is what we call the missions entrepreneurship. ▶if God has saved me, I must know the Gospel accurately and discover my true self within the Gospel. The world is not such a simple place. We must absolutely find the working of the Holy Spirit. We must also absolutely discover the missions entrepreneurship. ◆Conclusion ▶What is the truest success and the truest answer? It is to know who I am as a person saved by God. You must know three things in conclusion. You must hold onto the Word accurately and apply it to yourself. At that time, the works will arise. Evangelism is understanding and being considerate of those around me. It is to go together with them while confessing Christ. Prayer is focusing on the realm of God. Though this is just a short time that we have today, may you truly receive the important answers.

◆ Introduction ▶Assignment- Remnants must begin starting tomorrow morning. Wake up in the morning and begin your day in prayer and meditation. Prepare for your day with leisure and pray for the filling of the holy Spirit. If you continue this, there is an answer that comes without you even being aware of it, and that is health. If you continue this, great evidence will be given in your body. You will be strengthened in your academics, too. If you do this, it becomes easier to meditate and pray in the morning. Then, you will be greatly healed. At that time, exercise becomes possible. This is because you are have leisure. ▶If you do this, the genuine answers begin to come. (1) Christ- Answers come in Christ. (2) Kingdom – If you continue this, I begin to influence the things around me. This blessing is relayed to others. This is what we call God’s kingdom. (3) Ends of the earth- Then, you will see the ends of the earth. My goal becomes clear. That is why God poured down His blessing upon Paul who said, “I must visit Rome also!” ▶Happiness must come forth from this. Then, you will gain strength every day from within this. From this point on, answers will come out every day. All of our worries will become continuous prayer ◆ Main discourse 1. Rome – What is Rome? (1) At that time, Rome was the force that moved the entire world (mighty nation). (2) The top of every field is also Rome. (3) Realistically, Rome is the idolatrous culture that is moving the entire world and the field and church that is raising up spiritual problems throughout the entire world. The culture of darkness is sweeping over the entire world. 2. Guidance of the Holy Spirit – God sends the Holy Spirit and fulfills all things through the working of the Holy Spirit. ▶How can we do Rome evangelization? Through the works of the Holy Spirit, God fulfills all things. (1) Old Testament – Pentecost (Exodus 23:13-16), I will pour out my spirit on all people in the end times (Joel 2:28), by my Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Genesis 41:38 Joseph, 1 Samuel 16:13 David, 2 Kings 2:9-11 Elisha, Ezekiel 37:1-10 When the Spirit of God comes upon the dry bones, it will change into a mighty army. (2) What Jesus said during His public ministry – John 14:1-27, John 16:1-33, john 20:22, Acts 1:8, You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. (3) Early Church – The works arose from Mark’s upper room. When this happened, God’s power had no choice but to be manifested. 3. Where is the end of the earth? (1) Spain – it was Spain (Romans 15:23). The end of the earth for us today is the Jewish people. If we save the Jewish people, we will save the world. (2) The Remnants scattered throughout the world is the end of the earth. (3) The missions field that I must pray for throughout my entire lifetime is the end of the earth. ◆Conclusion – With this, begin to pray. ▶Christ promised that when the Holy Spirit comes on us, we will receive power and be witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts1:8). Then, the prayer topics will come out. I bless you in the name of Jesus that you may pray correctly for one thing and have victory.

(1) 1st Pulpit Message (July 14th)→ God’s Absolute Sovereignty (Acts 9:1-15) ▶Thank you for allowing me to not be deceived by the unbelief that is brought from the world, and be

victorious in faith with a clean conscience in front of God’s absolute sovereignty as Your saved child. Please allow me to see God’s absolute sovereignty that fulfills my entire life in the midst of grace and power. Help me to see and experience the works of completing God’s absolute sovereignty through faith while facing sufferings. Please allow me to experience God’s absolute sovereignty that is fulfilled through evangelism, and please restore this blessing as I discover my personal prayer. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

(2) 2nd Pulpit Message (July 14th)→ The Mission Entrepreneurship of a Female Disciple (Acts 9:36-43) ▶Thank you for allowing me to live the blessed life a disciple who serves the remnants – the eternal

answers – while knowing the mystery of the life movement and the evangelism movement. Please allow me to be used as a witness who enjoys the greatest answers through the gospel movement, which becomes eternal blessings. While knowing the gospel movement, help me to be the disciple who comes first to the minds of the evangelists and who enjoys the answers of the greatest missions. In addition, help me to enjoy the blessing of raising our Remnants as the greatest missions industry that will save this age. Now, let the accurate gospel become imprinted upon the future generation. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

(3) Evangelism Planning Team (July 14th)→ Regional Message Lesson 28: Unity Centered on the Church (Ephesians 1:20:-23)

▶ For pastors, it is not important to give a sermon well; however, pastors must receive grace throughout the week while holding onto God’s word. Moreover, pastors must run the errand for the people of God with that word. In addition, the believers must know how to listen to the word on the Lord’s Day while they are within deep prayer. Then, they will begin to see the answers from the week. Additionally, when Remnants hear this word and that word at church, instead of getting into a trial because of that, they must hold onto them as important prayer topics.

① Jesus Christ is the head of the church unity, the head of all creation (Ephesians 1:22, 23, Colossians 1:8)

② The church is the body of Christ, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way (Ephesians 1:23, 1 Corinthians 12:12)

③Each shape and role is different, but when united, each part is precious for it fulfills completeness (1 Corinthians 12:27).

(4) Pastoral Graduate School (July 16th)→ ▶Lecture 1: (Pastors) Start- Salvation (Acts 1:1-8) ① Pastors must properly start with the things that God has given (Acts 1:1 Christ-internal calling, 3

God’s kingdom-external calling, 8 filling of the Holy Spirit-commission). ② Pastors just need to know what God is restoring (shine the light and save the 7 disasters and culture

of darkness-Genesis 3:15, Exodus 3:18, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 16:16). ③ Pastors need to start with God’s method (Christ-solution to all problems, Jesus is the Christ-

evangelism, Jesus Christ is my Lord-confession). ▶Lecture 2: (Pastors) Church with a Hole-Start a New Imprint through the Filling of the Holy

Spirit (Acts 1:14) ① Acts 1:14, it was a gathering of those who staked their lives (those with life, those who saved life),

those who knew the future, and those who possessed the covenant. ② They knew the conclusion and the result- Acts 1:8, Romans 16:25-27. ③ They were people who knew of true strength, the true future, and the true time schedule (Acts 2:1,

Acts 2:5, Acts 2:18, Acts 2:41, Acts 2:46-47) ▶Lecture 3: (Church Officers) Preparation to Overcome the World (Acts 1:14) ① Introduction- You cannot overcome the world with the standards of the world. See Mt. Calvary (truth

of the cross), Mt. of Olives (God’s kingdom), and the upper room (working of the Holy Spirit) that the Early Church’s church officers saw.

② Then, through the pulpit message, you will start to see the important things (Acts 1:1,3,8, Rome) ③ Finally, all of the church officers in all fields will live and revival will start to take place (Acts 2:9-11,

Acts 2:41, Acts 2:46-47) ④ They started to see God’s word (Acts 2:14-21, Joel 2:28) ⑤ From this point on, the walk of faith in the church started to take place (Acts 2:42-47) ▶Lecture 4: (Church Officers) Preparation to Save the World (Acts 2:17) ① Introduction- There is an urgent commission for the church officers to save the world (only-content,

constantly-form, uniqueness-answer).

② It is going out with the answer of uniqueness (Acts 1:1, Acts 9:36-43, Acts 10:1-6, Acts 16:15, Acts 18:1-4, Philemon 1:1-25, Romans 16:23- missions entrepreneurship).

③ The evangelism of uniqueness will arise (Acts 8:4-8, Acts 9:26-40, Acts 9:1-43). ④ He has already prepared a passage of uniqueness for us (Colossians 4:1-18, 1 Corinthians 16:14-24,

Romans 16:1-27). ⑤ Conclusion- If this happens, you will go towards the summit in that field. ▶Lecture 5: (Remnant) The One who has Crumbled ① Introduction- The easiest thing to do in your walk of faith is finding disciples. There are three things

that we must do when we have the RUTC. ② Spiritual training→ Time (Acts 1:3-headquarters, Acts 1:14-team, Acts 2:14-21-church, Acts 2:46-47-

field)+concentration-imprint (word-accurately, evangelism-understand/consider/together/confessions of faith, prayer-happiness/strength/answer)+you have to be able to make yourself concentrate.

③ Specialization training→ Find the 13 years. Tell them of their 17 years. Help them to go towards the summit.

④ Vision training- the 7 Remnants, the vision training Jesus Christ showed ⑤ Conclusion- Help them to have three citizenships (Korean, world-Roman citizenship, citizenship of

heaven) ▶Lecture 6: (Remnant) The World that has Crumbled ① Prepare ahead of time the groups of the specialties according to the field- Preparation of Remnants,

coming of ceremony (commissioning ceremony-sending out ceremony), and church officers ② Make the evangelism groups with the Remnants- preparations for the 3 fields (school, family, church),

3 organizations (New Age, Freemason, Jewish people), 3 entrepreneurships (culture, business, missions entrepreneurships)

③ Start the missions group now while looking at your entire life- Analyze one nation, person (exchange), system

④ Conclusion- Be the brain of the pastors! (5) Specialized Lecturer’s Training (July 14th)→ ▶Lecture 1: Solution (Philippians 3:20) ① Make it so they can start properly and then enjoy- time (Acts 1:1 enjoyment, Acts 1:3 waiting, Acts

It sways your life (James 3:2-4). ④ Lesson 4: The works of faith are the works of strength (James 5:16-18). (9) Regional Message (July 20th)→ Unity Centered on Worship (John 4:21-24)

♠Scripture Reading (John 4:21-24) 21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” ▶The passage is about the conversation between Jesus and a Samarian woman who opened her eyes to faith. Jesus was teaching her about the nature of worship, and He said that the outer qualifications of the worship is not important, but recognizing the fellowship with God who has eternal life was important, and He emphasized that the one who allowed this fellowship is Christ Himself. Then what is the unity centered on worship? 1. The unity centered on worship gives worship while correctly knowing the will of God. ▶ “You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.” (v.22) Not knowing means that they are ignorant, which means that they don’t know the essence of worship while serving God. They only believed in Pentateuch of Moses, and they worshipped God and other evil spirits. How ignorant is this? Like this, the values that people have chosen to worship for the benefit of people could not be the true worship that God received. If you take a look at Acts 17, Paul saw an altar that was made to an unknown god. They were worshipping to a god that they didn’t even know of. It is written, “Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: ‘People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.’” (Acts 17:22-23) If our dimension of belief is outside of the dimension of considering God as our tool, and we become the instrument to be used by God, we will be raised as the people who have clear worship.

2. The unity centered on worship gives worship to God in truth ▶ “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.” (v. 23) Before the diligence and sincerity of people, worship should be given by following God’s word of truth, which is the will of God. When we fall out from the principles of truth, that worship becomes the sacrifice of Cain (Ge. 4:2-5). Of course the heart of the worship is the most important part, but the outer and objective knowledge is also important. ‘in spirit and in truth’ Then what is the worship that follows the truth? Apostle Paul criticized the Jews who lived the worship life while ignoring the truth like this; “For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but the zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.” (Ro. 10:2-3) In other words, the Jewish temple, sacrificial offering, and the laws were a shadow of Jesus Christ who is the truth (Heb. 8:1-6, 9:23-28). Before Christ came, people were saved through the method of receiving righteousness and eternal life through giving worship to God with the model of faith. However, since the true body of truth has come, the true worship is giving worship by following the principle of the gospel, not the law. The meeting between the spiritually absolute One and a life filled with unrighteousness and flaws cannot be completed with the laws and sacrifice of animals. Only the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ, and His righteousness can let us meet with God. The Lord came to this earth to proclaim this way of truth (v. 25), and He said, “I am he.” (v.26) 3. The unity centered on worship must give worship in spirit ▶ “God is spirit and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth” (v.24) The word that God is spirit means to justify the essential being of God. God, who is a spiritual being, transcends all of the materialistic world. People who want to have fellowship with God must first worship in spirit (1Cor. 2:11), which precedes physical sacrifice. The worship without repenting, thanksgiving, and love will not be the worship of truth, but a legalistic worship that emphasizes humanistic worship ceremonies, which cannot glorify God. This word is emphasizing the most important element of the worship to the Samaritans and other gentiles without the obstacle of the place and form of worship. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rom. 12:1-2) ▶Worship is a meeting with God who is the holy and spiritually absolute character. Since God is the spiritually absolute character, He desires to receive the worship that comes from all parts of our lives and our center. Let’s become the believers who correctly know the will of God and give worship in spirit and in truth
