Vespasian (ruled 69-79 A.D.) began construction on it. The Colosseum was completed by his youngest son Domitian.

• It is an elliptical shape, 617 ft long , 512 ft wide, and 157 ft high(three stories).

• It was used for gladiator battles.

• This wall was built in the 3rd century B.C. to protect the northern boarders of China.

• There are two measurements of the wall: one being that it is about 1500 miles long the other one was about 4000 miles long.

• The wall started out being called The wall of Qin Shihuangdi then as the Ming dynasty built on it was then called The Ming Walls by the 17th 18th century the Europeans referred to it as Great Wall of China.
