General Information

The WSMS schedule is built on an 8-period day with each class lasting for approximately 45 minutes.

Math - 7th Graders – 2 periods per day 8th Graders – 1 or 2 periods per day depending on class

English—1 or 2 periods per day depending on class

Science—1 period per day

• It is State Law! Students will not be allowed to attend school without the proper documentation of the updated immunizations or exemption form.

CAT Mission Statement

The Center for Academic Training is committed to fostering the development of independent,

successful learners.

CAT Overview

• The CAT is designed to assist all students by providing before and after school support in all subject areas.

• In the CAT we help students get caught up on any missing or late work as well as tutoring and the re-teaching of specific concepts.

• The CAT also handles testing for students with testing accommodations, such as: Oral testing; Individual Testing; Small Group.

• ‘No Pass, No Play’– Must Have A 70+ Grade Across All Classes– Students Must Submit Weekly Grade Reports

• Tutorials To Aid Academic Needs – First Period Attends After-School Tutorials– Eighth Period Attends Before-School Tutorials

• Must Attend School Day of Competition
