2PREFACE
In the year 2019 the 7th International Conference Automotive Wire Harness – organized by Süddeutscher Verlag Veranstaltungen – will present the latest trends and challenges in the industry. Thanks to the active support of the Advisory Committee, we have once again organized an attractive and well-conceived program featuring many keynote presentations from leading automotive manufacturers.
Besides top-class speakers and competently created lectures, the participants appreciate the excellent possibilities for an annual, intensive exchange of ideas with the most important wire harness system specialists in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Automotive Wire Harness Conference evolves more and more to the international automotive industry platform No. 1. That’s why we offer professional English simultaneous translation to all participants on both days.
During the coffee breaks you will have the opportunity to visit the booths of the exhibitors in front of the conference hall and talk to a great number of experts.

KDPOF enables seamless optical networks integration for Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in vehicles. The leading supplier for gigabit transceivers over POF (Plastic Optical Fiber) partners with primary wire harness supplier such as TE and others. POF cables are very reliable: they can withstand harsh environments, vibrations, and misalignments. In addition, POF allows fast dynamic bending, tight bending, and dark liquid immersion in addition to delivering low noise and robustness regarding incoupling of electromagnetic fields. As a plastic, wide diameter fiber, POF is cheap to manufacture and install: installation is just easy plug and play, winding and clamping is similar to copper cables.
