A car and a truck were traveling on the same road from Town A to Town B. The towns were 540 miles apart. The truck traveled at an average rate of 60 miles per hour. The car left Town A an hour after the truck, and it arrived at Town B ½ hour before the truck. What was the average speed of the car?

This year, the quickest way to contact us is by email. We can then arrange a time to speak.

Please email individual teachers if you have a question about a particular assignment or something that happened in a particular class. To check on

assignments if your child is sick for three days or more. Email Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Gonzalez, and they will gather all assignments to be left in the

main office. Otherwise, your child should check with their homework buddy or Schoology for assignments.
