1. CApacity BUilding for Integrating GAMe-Based Learning in Education Science Through Teacher Training in Western Balkans Countries
Objective of the project is to develop a joint, accessible and successful system of use of Game-Based
Learning (GBL) approach and to build capacities for integrating GBL practices in Education Science
and to contribute to the training of university and non-university teachers in Western Balkan countries.
Specific objectives are:
-Representative centres in Western Balkans Partner Countries for GBL and a network including
teacher training centres to share innovative practices;
-Online resource base to support Education Science teachers and head management in integrating
GBL in classroom teaching and school-based management;
-Handbook on regional guidelines on curriculum framework and standards of GBL infusion by
university and non-university teachers
Project outcomes:
-Representative GBL approach advisory centres in WB partner countries
-Online data base, resource and reference tool
-Final conferences in WB partner countries
Outputs:
- Handbook on regional guidelines, curriculum framework and standards of GBL infusion by teachers
- Teacher standards for competencies in ICT
- Prototype course units and modules with integrated GBL in Education Science
- Material and equipment packages for realization of GBL training and operational activities of
representative centres.

Brief need analysis Uzbekistan is making its entry into the international arena. After the independence was proclaimed the republic was faced with the necessity of creating national educational system with new realities that meets world standards and government coped with this task. Recently has been adopted new law of the Republic of Uzbekistan about sustaining reformulated, effective learning of foreign languages (with accent on English) in the country.
It has become indispensible and overriding task meant to express today’s immediate and future interests of the government of welfare issue. It is with due regard of new law adopted as well as with regard to the progressive European experience that we should reform Foreign language teaching for Specific Purposes.
The aim of our project is to transform the focus, methodology, content and recourses (both technical and pedagogical) of foreign language teaching for specific purposes. As ready-made formulas or models show the interests of former USSR are

proving to be of little effect and non-competent in the fast developing world and inhibiting future progress in upbringing young initiative generation. In this perspective, new battery of strategies must be exerted to achieve successful results in foreign language teaching for specific purposes.
The project aims on incorporating new information communicative technologies with sophisticated and reformulated pedagogical approach in teaching foreign languages for specific purposes. It is equally important to base the reforms on the mentality of our people characterised by spiritual and cultural values, educational culture. In this perspective institutions of European Union countries will be helpful with sustaining to form and define stages, and taking concrete measures necessary to reach the goal set.
Objectives and activities 1. Sustain with one month course of teacher Development course consisted of 10 foreign Language teachers in European Institutions. 2. Foreign Language Teaching reforms in 7 domains of science with duration of 4 academic years. Fields encompass:
1. Information Communicative Technologies department students.
2.Economics department students 3. Law and policy 4.Medicine 5.Engineering 6. Irrigation and farming 7. Chemistry and physics.
3. Creating Information recourse centre for English learning students and teachers. By the end of the project
Effective curriculum based on ICT and new Pedagogical approaches will be achieved in the field of FLT for specific purposes.
Self-propelling teacher development process will be maintained by the end of the project.
Young generation with operational command of the language will be able to share their ideas and researches in science and Arts with young scholars of the World that helps to form holistical view of XXI century

The Republic of Uzbekistan - a country of west-central Asia (Area: 447,400 sq km, Population: 27,800,000) lies largely between the Amu Darya and Syr Darya rivers. Uzbekistan declared its independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Tashkent is the capital and the largest city. The Uzbeks constitute three-fourths of the population; Russians, Tajiks, Kazakhs, Tatars, and Karakalpaks make up the remainder. Languages: Uzbek (official), Russian, Tajik, Kazakh. Currency: sum. Since independence the economy, culture and education of Uzbekistan started to develop. Uzbekistan has a 99.3% literacy rate among adults older than 15.
Bukhara (bəkä´rə), city (pop. 300,400), capital of Bukhara region, Uzbekistan, in the Zeravshan River valley. On the Shokhrud irrigation canal system, it is the center of a large cotton district and has textile mills as well as cotton-ginning industries and a large karakul skin processing plant. The population is mainly Uzbek, with Tajik, Arab, and Afghan minorities and a much-dwindled Jewish minority. First mentioned in Chinese chronicles in the 5th cent. AD, Bukhara is one of the oldest trade, scholarship and cultural, religious centers in central Asia. It was a long-time center of Judaism. It came under the Arab caliphate in the 8th cent. and became a major center of Islamic learning. During the 9th and 10th cent. it was the capital of the Samanid state. From the 16th cent. to 1920 it was the capital of the khanate of Bukhara, which was ceded to Russia in 1868. From 1920 to 1924 it was the capital of the Bukhara People's Republic. Its many monuments include the mausoleum of Ismail Samanid (892–907), the minaret of Kalyan (1127), the mosque of Magoki-Attari (12th cent.), the Ulughbek (1417–18) and Mir-Arab (1535–36) madaris (theological schools), and the madrasah of Abdulaziz-Khan (1651–52). The name is also spelled Bokhara.

Bukhara engineering-technical institute of high technologies has been transformed by the decision number 214 of the Cabinet of Republic Uzbekistan from July, 25th, 2011, on basis of Bukhara technological institute food and light industry with a aim of further perfection of preparation experts meeting modern requirements of market economy, and also strengthening of personnel resource base in the field of high technologies of industrial and processing branches of Republic.
There are 4 faculties at the institute: Light and textile industry; Technique and technology of oil and gas; Automation of technological processes; Food technology. 25 chairs are engaged in preparation of highly skilled engineers of
undergraduate and postgraduate. The contingent of students makes 5165 bachelors and 104 masters. Institute stuff consists of 332 teachers. Whole scientific potential of institute makes 50 % from total of teachers.
The institute has 4 educational cases, the information-resource center, the test center, 2 hostels, 2 sports complexes.

A continues process of training, developing curricula, applying methodologies and up to date knowledge transfer it a necessity in the Albanian case (agricultural and economic higher education). In Our University (which is unique in Albanian space) there are only 10% of the students coming from agricultural and economic higher education. It is again imperative in order to provide consistence between these levels of education, supporting agricultural and economic higher school level. Objectives The main objective of the project is to encourage scientific and professional education of higher school student in agriculture econimic sciencies aiming:
Raising interes for this level of education in (agricultural and economics)
Increase the level of services with inovative practices and up to date knowledge transfer towards businesses in the agricultural sector
Increase the interes of the student from this levle of education towards Agricultural University of Tirana (gettin an university degree)

Donetsk National University is a member of European University Association and two international
organisations: the Eurasian Organisation and AIMOS, a participant of various European scientific and

establishments in qualified IT teachers as there no existing master program in Ukrainian HEI in this specific
area.
SMHES «Center of the Third Age Education»
The idea is to create Center of the third age education and training within the post-diploma training
program. The Center will be a structure which aims to provide education for retired members of the local
community - those in the third age of life.

University as a leading Ukrainian law university has a history dating back to the beginning of the XIX
century. Main field of activities of the University: educational, methodological and research activity;
international cooperation. The main subject areas covered by education and research are law, political
science, intellectual property, consolidated information, public cervices. There are about 15 thousand
students at 3 institutions and 12 faculties. Currently the University aims at further internationalization of
education and introduction of greater number of Master courses, including courses taught in English and
other foreign languages.
3. Information about the intended TEMPUS project:
We look forward to cooperate in terms of sharing experience, developing new research tools and methods,
applying new technologies to the learning process, establishing multilateral academic exchanges,
preparing and implementing joint bachelors’ and postgraduate study programs in accordance with EU
educational standards and developing the long-term basis for cooperation. The need for using multimedia
to increase awareness in the educational environments will provide students with opportunities to retrieve
and activate their schemata, i.e. background knowledge and using tools for analyzing the world, accessing
and interpreting information, organizing their personal knowledge, and sharing their own knowledge with
others; get the students engaged in filling multimedia applications which provide valuable learning
opportunities; empower students to create and design their own formats rather than absorbing models
created by others; encourage deep reflective thinking which may lead to autonomous learning. and improve
existing educational system and bring it closer to European standard.
4. Project proposal/description:
We are interested in joint projects focused on development of international relations, knowledge triangle
education-research-innovation, University management and services for students. We would like to expand
the international cooperation in the area of public and municipal administration and suggest a partnership in

Since 1998 National University “Odessa Law Academy” has been a member of European Association of
Universities. In 2006 the University one of the first in Ukraine signed Magna Charta Universities. Since
2008 the University has been a member of European Association of Public Law. For the last years it has
been concluded more than 50 long-terms agreements about collaboration with leading universities of
countries of Europe and the USA, influential international governmental and non-governmental
organizations. National University has taken part repeatedly in realization of scientific and research,
technical and humanitarian projects of European Union and UN. In 2002-2004 University was a partner
organization of the project “Legal training in Ukraine, Kiev and selected regions.

the project “Supports of innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in

2. Student exchange: organizing study tours and internship on socially-oriented companies in different
regions of EU and Ukraine; providing social events, arranging social activities; on-site trainings in ecology-
friendly firms and companies providing ecological services (including agro - consulting), student volunteer
projects aimed at promoting local communities, work in orphanages, shelters for the homeless, and other
welfare institutions;
3. Collaborative promotional activity of the project participants for local and international networking of the
regions to impact the shaping of public opinion in the areas of ecology, the social responsibility of
business and social support of vulnerable groups;
4. The creation of the knowledge triangle: education– research– innovation to promote knowledge and
technologies transfers of social and business innovations among partnering universities, foreign
companies by organizing international forums, conferences, research projects ( together with the Ternopil
Institute of agricultural production, Ternopil research station of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, the
Institute of Regional Research of the National Academy of Sciences, as well as a network of business
incubators and technology transfer centers in Ukraine and Poland;
5. Developing common quality standards of governance of processes of innovative, socially-oriented
entrepreneurship and promotion of a healthy lifestyle; implementation of European quality standards into
environment-friendly manufacturing and service processes, as well as revitalization processes of

Electronic Technical University in the context of distance learning development in Ukraine.
Acronym: EUniTech.
Target group: Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine; Regional and Local Authorities;
Universities’ administration, professors and non-teaching staff.
Consortium: three European universities with good experience in distance learning and three technical
universities of Ukraine with no experience of distance learning.
Objectives:
Wider objective: The development of engineers training system according to Bologna process standards
implementation through Ukrainian technical universities integration in distance learning sphere.
Specific objectives: Creation of interregional network of distance learning in the form of functioning
Electronic Technical.
Training of teaching staff, modernization of curriculum, preparation of courses to be taught for the
Electronic Technical University due to Bologna process standards with the help of best practices of
