The emphasis is on new technology and evidence-based outcomes. Modules based on subspecialties of urology such as uro-oncology, urolithiasis, surgical management, men’s health and voiding disorders are covered by nationally recognized faculty. Goals The attendee will be familiar with the best practice guidelines for managing a wide variety of urologic conditions and will be updated on the latest surgical treatments, including laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Objectives At the conclusion of this CME activity, the learner should be better able to: • Select appropriate patients for male and female genitourinary reconstruction. • Safely use energy sources in endoscopic lithotripsy. • Inform patients as to the best practice regarding early detection of prostate cancer. Accreditation Wake Forest School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Wake Forest School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
