Latest devices and developments - face

The described treatment techniques have been tried and tested for a long time. Each technique on its own shows a visible effect. If all techniques are applied simultaneously or consecutively, the effect may add up or even multiply. For this reason, devices have been developed that master several techniques simultaneously. Recently very effective devices for tightening and smoothing the face have come onto the market, combining all these techniques. In addition, they have succeeded in miniaturizing these devices so that they can be held in the hand. Thanks to advanced production technology, they have meanwhile achieved affordable prices with impressive results.

The treatment with these devices is so gentle that you can apply them yourself at home, and achieve professional results without straining the body or purse.

6.1 Facelift with iontophoresis

6.1.1 Iontophoresis for natural rejuvenationIontophoresis technology has been known and well researched for some time. Newly developed in this area, however, is a concept for the introduction of active ingredients into the skin of the face. Normal creams fail to make active ingredients work because they can only stay on the surface. With iontophoresis, ionized ingredients can also work well because they penetrate deep into the skin and can effectively develop their effect there.

New handy devices with high performance deliver a special galvanic voltage. Because the devices are held in the hand,

the gentle stream over the whole body can act directed on the face, without irritating the facial skin too much. The whole effect is distributed evenly over four different electrodes, including 2 treatment electrodes and 2 hand electrodes on the back of the devices, which gently conduct the electrical circuit through the body, thus avoiding intensive stress on the skin. The new devices are programmed for iontophoresis with constant DC current. This gentle, constant, ionized DC current pushes the likewise ionized components of the serum into the depths of the skin layers. If these special ingredients such as bi-molecular hyaluron, and Syn-Ake (see chapter 6.1.2) with iontophoresis are used sensibly and regularly, one can achieve a skin rejuvenation effect of 10-20 years. Even a significant increase in the number of elastic fibers with iontophoresis has been scientifically proven by the University of Washington, USA.

6.1.2 Active ingredients

6.1.2.1 Hyaluron: the body‘s makeoverHyaluron is an essential part of the skin. Hyaluron is the component of the skin that keeps the skin firm and supple. Every single gram of hyaluron can bind up to 6 liters of water and thus cushion the skin. In addition, hyaluron stimulates the fibroblasts, taming cell connective tissue cells that produce natural collagen and elastin. Hyaluron is, therefore, a holistic natural active ingredient that provides the volume, smoothness, and smoothness of the skin.

and no longer produced anew. The hyaluronic deficiency in old age is one of the reasons for the development of wrinkles. Even hyaluronic creams cannot replace the skin‘s own hyaluronic acid because the large hyaluron molecules cannot penetrate the skin barrier of the horny layer. In the form of creams, hyaluronic acid and other active ingredients cannot penetrate the skin. That‘s why most beauty creams are not really effective.

In the current study of the University Hospital Berlin from 2014, the effectiveness of the anti-aging serum (BYAS Hyaluron Serum) with its components (hyaluron and various antioxidants) was tested. Hyaluron itself also has antioxidant properties in the skin. Antioxidants prevent premature skin aging, where they can neutralize free radicals. In addition, BYAS Hyaluron Serum contains additional antioxidants.

In the experiment, the BYAS Hyaluron Serum was incorporated into the skin by iontophoresis with the BYAS Face Lifter.

The test was carried out in a half-face experiment. One face half was treated. As a control, the skin on the other side without treatment was also measured. In such a test arrangement differences can be detected very reliably. In this study, both the effectiveness of the treatment was demonstrated as well as the penetration of hyaluronic acid into the deeper layers of the skin. The measurements showed that the constituents of the serum used could be detected by iontophoresis in up to ten times the amount in the deeper layers of the skin. After three treatments, it was even possible to detect 900% more hyaluronic acid in the skin than without treatment.

In the half-side comparison, it could thus be demonstrated that hyaluron in this combination penetrates very effectively into the skin.

6.1.2.2 Syn-Ake: the new natural top active against deep facial lines Treating wrinkles with botulinum toxin is one of the most widely performed aesthetic treatments in the world. Botulinum toxin is injected directly into the muscles and blocks the transmission of the nerve impulse to muscle completely. Now it is not for everyone to undergo regular injections. Now there are highly interesting developments. In Switzerland, an active ingredient has recently been developed which also affects the mimic muscles.

The newly developed active ingredient Syn-Ake consists of two amino acids. This is a dipeptide. Coupled with this molecule is another component: the diaminobutyroyl benzylamine diacetate. Syn-Ake is a proven safe active ingredient and can replace Botulinum toxin to a certain extent.

Syn-Ake is great for iontophoresis treatment because it penetrates deep enough to be effective. The advantage of Syn-Ake is that the muscle is not completely blocked, but only partially. So the facial expression is not completely paralyzed and the facial expression remains completely natural. The mimic muscles wrinkles are significantly reduced, but not completely reversed. That‘s why you do not get the desired mask face or facial expressions feared by botulinum toxin (FROZEN FACE).

With regular use, the development and aggravation of mimic wrinkles are reliably prevented. Side effects such as allergies have not previously been described.

6.2 Toning with radiofrequency - for natural formsOver time, the face changes due to a variety of different influences.

Every person has their own facial expressions and regularly repeats certain movements with the facial muscles. This kinks the skin in certain places. Thus, various techniques of radiofrequency treatment have been developed that can tighten all individual layers of the face.

When using radio frequency, the effect depends very much on which frequency is used. The radiofrequency is available in modern devices from 1 Hz, so one oscillation per second, over 1 kHz, ie 1,000 Hz / s up to more than 1 MHz, so 1 million oscillations per second.

Depending on how many oscillations per second are used, the radio frequency vibrations can penetrate into different depths of the skin and cause a specific effect there.

6.2.1 Tightening facial skin with radiofrequencyThe use of radiofrequency in medicine has been known for 30 years as safe and effective. However, it is new to be safe and effective and treat associations regularly even with radiofrequency.
