Minister of Health, and William Beveridge’s 1942 Report on
social welfare has sold 600,000 copies
It’s the birth of theNationalHealthService
Some years onin the NHS asylum
at Hellinglyin East Sussex...

Gordon Brown does a great job as Tony Blair’s Chancellor, and
pours billions into the NHS.One result is the building of the new inpatient unit at Hastings. The new building, new carpets,
and new furniture have a strong effect on morale :-
Local comedy superstarJo Brand has opened the unit in
2001 and never mentions giving injections in the rear
during her time as a psychiatric nurse. Tastefully, this is also not a part of her
stand-up routine
