It means not dumping on someone because you're having a bad day. It means being polite and kind always, because being kind to people is not negotiable. It means not dissing people because they're different from you. It means not gossiping about people or spreading lies.

Dictionary.com: Esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability. Example: I have great respect for her judgment.

• RESPECT THE TEACHER. Follow directions the first time.

• RESPECT OTHERS. Keep language and actions polite, encouraging and school-appropriate. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.

• RESPECT THE CONTENT. Be on task and engaged.

• RESPECT THE LEARNING. Bring your materials to class every day… that means pencil, paper, and binder.

• RESPECT SCHOOL POLICY. Electronics will be turned off and out of sight.

respectfully, please. • Don’t waste supplies. Be careful with books. Gum

goes in the trash, not under tables.

• If you break something that is mine, you will be expected to replace it!

• My desk/computer area are off-limits. Enter only with my permission!

• Electronics are to be off and out of sight (unless being used for a specific learning activity).

• Cell phones will be collected by me, taken to the office, and available for pickup after school.

• Hall passes are required. • Update Falcon Facilitators every

RESPECT YOURSELF

• Set boundaries with those who are disrespectful. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. Just do it respectfully.

• Be able to say “I’m sorry” whenever you need to.

at the top of every assignment. • Late work: Ten points will be taken off late

assignments. Missing assignments will count as a zero until they are turned in.

• Absent work is your responsibility. See me before or after class to find out what you have missed. • Clean up materials/supplies before class ends.
