The Third Ba.ttalisn, Fifth Uarines, spent the first eight (B) days ef March in the regimental reserve area. Durl.ng this period a rigorous camp improvement pro~ject was carried out. Security outposts were manned oonstantly and rear area patrols were sent out daily. On 7 March the battalion rehearsed a part sf its counteratte.ck plan by manning blo eking Dositien four (4).
