I would once again ask you to renew your membership card, to avoid being judged an opportunist and consequently lose your constitutional rights forever. Moreover, the DNA tests are astoundingly conclusive. The DNA evidence shows that the ancestral families that we represent in Eastern Canada are Métissées (intermingled). We are the only Nation that has presented this type of proof to the courts. We will show, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that our Nation is Aboriginal, nothing less. We are living on non-ceded territory and are the legitimate owners of all of Eastern Canada, along with the First Nations living here. We reclaim ownership of all of this territory that belongs to us, in virtue of international law and the Canadian Constitution. The Parent case is the key that will open the doors that have been closed to us by the conqueror that has strived to dominate us since colonization, by these unscrupulous Europeans who even went as far as paying for each Indian that was killed. ( Cornwallis 1754 ) These shameless colonists ordered the systematic genocide that we experienced for the purpose of eliminating us in order to take ownership of the territories belonging to the First Nations. They even paid Aboriginal women to marry French men for the purpose of taking ownership of assets and the land of the people of the First Nations. And, obviously, these women were then excluded from their tribes and lost their Aboriginal status. It is our responsibility to redress the wrongs that have been committed. The colonists created the Indian residential school system and the missions that eventually became convents and colleges. They forced young children to abandon their language, tortured them, abused them and starved them. We have a colossal amount of evidence, it is high time to join our community and contribute to its growth and influence and avoid losing your Constitutional rights forever. Our DNA evidence has been submitted and ratified by an international researcher who is located in Switzerland. The National Geographic began this work in the past and the new tests were conducted by Familytree DNA in Texas, USA. Our research is recognised by the international scientific community and is consequently indisputable. We are Metis Aboriginals. We are all descendants of the matriarchs and patriarchs who lived in America more than thirty thousand years ago. Therefore, we are authentic Aboriginals. We are participating in this trial to ultimately win and we will unquestionably win: this is the promise we are making to you.
