A masquerade ball is an event in which the participants attend in cos-tume wearing a mask.

Masquerade balls were extended into costumed public festivities in Italy during the 16th century Renaissance. They were generally elaborate dances and were particularly popular in Venice. They have been associated with the tradition of the Venetian Carnival. We encourage you to wear a costume to reflect our theme – the wilder, the better!!
