Do you blame others for some of your circumstances, possibly due to your childhood or either of your parent’s lifestyle or their divorce for why your marriage ended up in divorce? It is easy to blame others or find fault with someone else, but I challenge you today to choose to live a blameless life before your Lord. LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman. Psalm 15:1-3 God wants you to stand strong with His wisdom, knowledge, and discernment, knowing God’s truths so that the enemy does not have you blaming others. He wants you to read God’s Word and forgive your parents or others of your past and pray for their hearts and lives to be changed. We have many standers who are praying for their parent’s and sibling’s salvations and their marriages to be restored. Is anything too hard for the Lord? “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19 Page 1 of 4

WILL YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE A BLAMELESS LIFE?

You must be blameless before the LORD your God.  Deuteronomy 18:13

Who do you blame for your marriage problems? Do you blame your husband or wife for the failure of your marriage? Do you blame others for some of your circumstances, possibly due to your childhood or either of your parent’s lifestyle or their divorce for why your marriage ended up in divorce? It is easy to blame others or find fault with someone else, but I challenge you today to choose to live a blameless life before your Lord.

How are you living your daily life? Are you living the same way that you are thinking or speaking? You may know of other people or your spouse who think and speak differently. You and I are to speak the truth from our hearts and not blame or criticize others. The wordblamelessmeans to be innocent, free from blame. Allow the Lord to touch your heart so that you will live a holy and blameless life!

Paul emphasized in the New Testament the importance of living in holiness and living a blameless life. I pray that you will be challenged today to examine your personal walk with the Lord this week as Father’s Day is Sunday. Remember, what was said about Noah in Genesis:

...Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.  Genesis 6:9

I am deeply concerned that you, as a stander, not only will seek your Lord for marriage restoration, but will also be obedient to the Word of God. Will you live your life according to a higher standard? Do you speak badly about your spouse to your children, family and friends? Do your children overhear conversations that would wound them? Beware that you may be falling into a trap of Satan’s. May you always examine your life to see if you are living in accordance with God's Word.

For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair-every good path.  Proverbs 2:6-9

Our Lord God will protect us if we live a blameless and holy life. Ask the Lord daily for His divine pathway so that you can and will walk only on the straight and righteous path. Your husband or wife have taken a crooked path that is leading them in the opposite direction of a blameless and holy life. Unfortunately, they are blinded and deceived to God's truths. You and I need to pray daily for all prodigals, that they will surrender their life to the Lord and turn from their impure lifestyle suddenly and immediately!

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8

Never stop praying that your spouse will not be mastered by adultery, alcohol or drugs. Be careful that you do not become mastered by sins of jealousy, unforgiveness, anger, bitterness or hopelessness. Please pray for the husbands and wives who will not forgive their spouses who have failed as a husband or wife in many different ways and they will not give them another chance as our Lord forgives each of us every day.

Our Lord is the Deliverer who can set us free from all our sins. Nothing is too hard for Him to do! Now believe for your marriage to be restored!

Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.  Psalm 19:12-14
