Garments After WW2, dresses and skirts were tailored to
create a more feminine look Tailored suits, fitted jackets, peplum with

Garments Day dress- fitted bodices and full skirts with
jewels or low cut necklaces, peter-pan collar Halter-top sun dresses Pointed bust, rounded shoulder line Too escalate the femininity in outfits, women

clothing that was allowed to be purchased but after WW2 materialism exploded with a greater variety of fabrics, colours and patterns
Rock and Roll- Teenagers began to rebel and break out of the conservative nature of the 40’s and expressed their excitement through clothing
