50 State Survey – Coronavirus-Related “Stay at Home” and Reopening Orders
Below is a tracker of states, counties and cities that, as of June 25, 2020, have implemented “stay at home” orders requiring the closure of nonessential businesses or a subset thereof (e.g., nonessential retail businesses). As states and localities begin to relax these restrictions, they are issuing “reopening” orders which outline limitations and safety requirements for operations to resume in person. Included in the chart is a link to each state’s respective reopening orders and guidance. Links to local orders are included as well.

Many states have relied on this guidance in drafting their “stay at home” orders.
