Welcome Gift for Attendees
We may have a new power – predicting the weather. Marchex made sure all the
attendees had an umbrella waiting for them before the conference started, and
good thing we did! It was rainy the first couple of days into the conference, and
those umbrellas came in handy for quite a few people.

Interactive Booth Swag
Two words – prize wheel. We opted for a new way to give out swag, which
proved most successful in drawing people to our booth. Spinning the “wheel of
fortune” was exciting to do and fun to watch. The only thing missing was our
life-size Vanna White cardboard cut-out…maybe next time.

Assortment of Giveaways (that people actually like)
Because this conference was so close to home for us, we were able to be a little
more creative in gathering gifts for the prize wheel. We went for local themes
(Tom Douglas Rub with Love spices, Kukuruza popcorn) and wearable prizes for
search enthusiasts (“Search Geek” trucker hats, “I heart my SEM” dog collars).
Surprisingly, we also had great responses to our “High Five” giveaway!

Panel Presentation
Three of our search experts took the stage to discuss mobile search best
practices and optimizations for click-to-call. It was a jam packed session where
attendees had the ability to dive deep on our capabilities and knowledge around
Marin, Kenshoo, IngitionOne and DoubleClick. Attendees took home useful advice
and how-to’s from our live demos and interactive session.

Engaging Booth Staff
One of the most important parts of having a booth is staffing it with employees
who love what they do and are able to communicate clearly and thoughtfully
with attendees.
