Design features

Modern equipment and specialadditives used in the productionallow manufacturing high-qualitywiring duct that offers uniqueproperties.

The type of material wiring ductELECOR is made of allows itsmounting at low temperatures(down to –15°C).

The tight connection betweena duct cover and a base ensuredby double lock allows placinghard objects (such as corrugatedpipe) inside the wiring duct andduct installation on the ceiling.

Double lock to be combinedwith high-quality materialensur es the cover to be fasten -ed tightly so that it can not beremoved from the sidewall. The cover can only be removedfrom the end of the wiring duct.

Cost effective package madeof 150 micron thick polyethylenefilm provides an effectiveprotec tion for wiring duct duringtrans portation and storage.Information labels on the side-wall and at the end ensureeasy storage.

The butt end of packages isprotected by three-layer card-board providing additionalprotec tion in horizontal storage.Extra fixation by stepping-tapein four points ensures packaginghomogenity.

Special additives provide highflexibility: even being stronglyplastically deformed wiring ductkeeps operating featuresunchan ged.

Structural design of universalmounting KMKU box withremov able pre-punched wallsfor wiring ducts allows ductsmultiple interconnections.

In case of short circuit the riskof fire is minimal since thematerial of the duct doesn’tsustain combustion. This isconfirmed by test results.Wiring ducts of ELECOR seriesmeet the requirements of PV-Ocategory.

Modified wiring ducts of versions80´40, 80´60, 100´40,100´60 have a guide forsepara tor installation.

Design features

The trays have male-femaletype connectors firmly fixedwith the connection set KSM6´10.Standard tray length – 3 meters.

The latch's shape makes itsafer for use and increases thetray's tensile strength ascompared to straight trayswithout latches.

A dividing plate can be used tosplit the tray into two and moreparts, which enables installationof different types of wiring (digital and power) to avoidnoise.

Wide range of accessories (vertical and horizontal bends, T- and X-shaped fittings) allowfreely changing direction andlevel, creating derivations anddesigning wire routes of anycomplexity.

Bolts and screws with lockingclamps are used for connectingthe system to hangers andceiling clamps.

We offer a wide range of multi-purpose hangers for fixing traysto walls and ceilings, from pre-cast pieces of quick screw-infixation type to accessoriesconsisting of one solid part.

Covers are locked onto traysand accessories by pressingdown easily, no additional fittersare needed. The lock on thecover holds strong, enablingvertical installation of the wiring.

Well-developed perforationreduces the tray's weight with-out decreasing its durabilityand also allows fixing cablesfirmly inside the tray with nyloncable ties.

All trays and accessories areconnected to each other withconnection set KS M6´10.Therefore, only three types ofhardware components areneeded to design routes of anycomplexity. The square neckfixes the bolt from the KSM6x10 set, so just one M10wrench is required to connecttrays and accessories.

Ladder type cable trays

Ladder type steel trays made of galvanized steel are used for installing wires and cables duringsurface wiring in industrial and civil constructions.Ladder trays are made of coiled cold-rolled steel, hot-galvanized in continuous galvanizing devices (GOST 14918-80).

Advantages

• High bearing strength allows laying heavy cable routesunder weight load of over 600 kg/m.

• Open-cut cable routing using steel ladder trays makesmanagement and development of electrical and light-current systems easier.

• Multipurpose male-female type connector allows linearbutt to butt installation of cable routing as well as over-lapped sidewise one due to its new symmetrical design.

• Tubular shape of the lock enhances durability of IEK®

trays considerably.• Wide range of types and sizes allows designing cable

routes of any complexity using different types of trays.• Fire tests have shown high fire resistance. All characteris -

tics of the product remain the same.

Design features

All edges are rounded providingmaximum safety for the installerand prevents cable damage.

Upper linear wire is extendeda little, making usage of lockingcover possible. The lock on thecover holds strong, enablingvertical installation of the wiring.

A dividing plate can be usedto split the tray into two andmore parts, which enablesinstal lation of different typesof wiring (digital and power)to avoid noise.

There is a wide range of multi-purpose wall and ceiling fittingsfor designing cable systems ofany complexity.

Wire trays can be used asgrounding bars, eliminatingthe need to use copper cablesfor grounding, therefore savingtime and money that could bespent on materials and work.

There are several multipurposecomponents in the system thatprovide many different ways ofachieving the same goal. It'spossible to make up newstructures, connect old trayswith new ones, create deriva-tions of already existing routes.

Installation can be performedby one person. The main toolneeded for installation of theroute is wire cutters.

It's possible to create multi-level systems retaining easyaccess to cable routes.

Reference informationRecommendations on the cable choice

The most important factor in choosing cable suspension systems is the cable section.Cable cross-section is calculated based on the theoretically used tray zone – cross-section area and loading factor.Usually this loading factor equals 0, 5. Cross-section (or, rather, cross-section area) of the cable core is defined by its diameter.Usually it is based on the calculation that the load of 1 kW requires 1,57 mm2 of the core cross-section. Here goes the rough value of the cable cross-section that should be used in choosing its diameter. It is 5A for an aluminum cable for 1 mm2 and 8A for 1 mm2 for a copper one.

Conditions of cable choosing for cable carrying trays:– cable diameter should not exceed the height of the tray edge;– it is necessary to take into account the radius of the cable bending while choosing the rotational and bifurcation angle;– it is necessary to take into account the loading factor while choosing the tray.

ZOI insulated T-clamps

The ZOI clamps are intended for connecting and branching of phase and neutral wires of the self-carrying insulated conductors undera voltage up to 1 kV as well as for branching of service conductors (lightening wires). Tightening of the bolts makes the contact plateknives puncture insulation of the branched and main line conductors forming reliable electrical contact; simultaneously they surface ofthe uninsulated main line conductor. Upon achieving an effort sufficient for forming reliable electrical contact the upper bolt head strips. Each bolt is curled to prevent possible disconnection of the component parts which facilitates mounting and transportation. The clampdesign ensures sealed connection and reliable electrical contact. This was confirmed by the test when the clamp under an alternativevoltage of 6 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz was submerged under the water at a depth of 1 meter for 1 minute. The clamp case is madeof durable thermoplastic reinforced with glass fiber. In case of necessity the T-clamp can be dismounted from the line with thecorrespon ding wrench. The branching wire shall be inserted into the clamp cap up to the stop in order to ensure necessary sealing level.
