Updated by JT-28Jul17 BESAKIH MOTHER TEMPLE - KUSAMBA VILLAGE 布撒基寺“圣母庙” - 库桑巴盐矿村 After breakfast, proceed to the journey east and enjoy drive through the lush green countryside of Bali to Besakih, the site of Mother Temple of Bali – Pura Besakih Temple, located on the slopes of Mount Agung which rises 3,142 meters above sea level. Your trip to eastern Bali will be even more colorful by visiting Kusamba Salt Mining Village. The village offers an interesting scene of local people’s activities processing fish and Salt making in traditional way. After then proceed to Bukit Jambul Rice - Terraces, there is beautifully laid out rice-terraces to view. Then on to Goa Lawah (The Bats Cave). The roof of this cave is black with thousands of bats. In Klungkung , admire Kerta G osa, the Court House of Justice. Constructed in the late 18th century, its ceilings are covered with paintings depicting episodes and scenes of the horrors awaiting evil doers in the afterlife. Visit also the adjoining Bale Kambang (Floating Pavilion) and museum complex.
