Welcome to St. Alphonsus Liguori!St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish is a Catholic Christian Community of Disciples of the Lord Jesus. We believe that everyone is called to be on a spiritual journey and what matters is not where a person is on that journey, but actually being on the journey. Therefore we seek to welcome all people, regardless of the stage of their spiritual life, their struggles and failures. We simply ask that you walk with us and be open to what God is calling you to. We believe that God calls each member of our parish to worship,

to grow, to serve, to connect and to give.

Interested in Becoming Catholic? Know Someone Who Is?Vantage Point is a casual and conversational environment where people who are exploring Catholic Christianity get to know more about the basic message of Christ and the mission of His Church. This is an accessible and welcoming way to take a look at the bigger picture about God, Jesus, the Bible, the Christian story and the Catholic Church. We begin this new pro-gram in the fall. If you’re interested in more information, please contact us at the Welcome Desk or at the Parish Office. If you’re new to Christianity or the Catholic Church, Vantage Point is for you!

Teens to Steubenville Youth ConferenceSt. Alphonsus Parish is sending over 25 teenagers to participate in the Steubenville Youth Conference which will be held in Toronto this Summer. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our young people to celebrate their Catholic Faith with youth from all over Canada and the United States. The cost per youth is $350 for this amazing experience. There will be several fundraising initiatives coming up (including the Beavertails this weekend) to help offset the cost of this experience. I invite you to invest in our youth and keep them in your prayers.

Welcome DeskWelcome Desk offers you the opportunity to register for parish programs, of-fer a Mass for a deceased loved one or a special intention, make ap-pointments and more. If you’re new to the parish, stop by the Wel-come Desk and introduce yourself.

Mass and Blessing with St. Peregrine Relics On Tuesday, May 26th at 7pm we will be offering the Mass of St. Peregrine, who is the Patron Saint of those afflicted with cancer. We have all been touched by cancer in one way or another, and this Mass is a beautiful way to unite ourselves in prayer. Mass will be followed by the blessing with the relics of St. Peregrine and also an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Holy Anointing of the Sick. We join in prayer for those affected by cancer. In the midst of suffering, we offer spiritual healing and emotional peace. Confessions and Novena will be cancelled this night.

We are so excited to send 27 teens to Steubenville Toronto. This is an awesome teen conference where thousands of teens grow deeper in their faith through talks, activities, music, Mass, confession, and Eucharistic Adoration! This is an opportunity to set our youth on fire for the Lord so that the next generation can go out and make disciples!

The cost to attend the weekend conference is $350 per teen. In order for our youth to go they would greatly appreciate your support. If you would like to sponsor a teen, please take a sponsorship envelope at the doors of the church and you can make a donation which will be reflected on your income tax receipt at year end. Thanks so much!

NET Canada is the largest Catholic youth organization in Canada. We train young adult volunteers to be missionaries and send them out across Canada on teams to help youth love Christ and embrace the life of the Church.
