Heritage Week is a part of a European initiative to
encourage people to take an interest in their local Heritage.
The aim of heritage week is to foster a greater
understanding and awareness of our own local heritage.
This listing of events has been complied by Kildare County
Council.
Most events listed here are free.
Children are welcome but young children should be
accompanied by an adult.

Walking Tour of Leixlip Quiz All children and their parents are invited to attend a take part in a Walking Tour of Leixlip Quiz during Heritage Week. Come along to the library and collect your map, visit the local historical landmarks in Leixlip and find the answers to the questions on the quiz.
All correct entries returned to the library by Friday 3rd September will be entered in a draw for some cool prizes. Winners will be notified by phone during week of Monday 6th September.
