Chaplet of Divine Mercy
In 1933, Our Lord spoke to St. Faustina, gave her a striking vision of His Mercy and taught her to say this prayer on ordinary rosary beads:
1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross, then 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed. 2. On the “Our Father “ beads say the following words: “Eternal Father, I offer You the Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.” 3. On the ten “Hail Mary” beads say the following words: “For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion have Mercy on us and on the whole world. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all five decades. 5. Conclude with the following words, said three times: “Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
Jesus later said to St. Faustina, “Say unceasingly this Chaplet that I have taught you. Anyone who recites it will receive Great Mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this Chaplet even once, will receive grace from My Infinite
Mercy. I want the whole world to know My Infinite Mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in My Mercy.”

You these and all the priests

Heal and guide them. Mold
them into the likeness of Your
Son, Jesus, the Eternal High
Priest. May their lives be
pleasing to You.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

“Dear brothers and sisters, I have thought about how the Church can make clear its mission of being a witness of mercy. It's a journey that starts with a spiritual conversion. For this reason I have decided to declare an Extraordinary Jubilee that has the mercy of God at its center. It will be a Holy Year of Mercy. I am con-vinced that the whole Church will be able to find in this Jubilee the joy of rediscovering and making fruitful the mercy of God, with which we are all called to give con-solation to every man and woman of our time. Mercy is the best thing we can feel: it changes the world. A little mercy makes the world less cold and more just. We need to understand properly this mercy of God, this merciful Father who is so patient.”
