The LAW OFFICeS OF JUSTIN G. MORGAN, P.A. successfully represented Ms. S. in a car accident after she was struck in the rear and got out of her car to inspect the damage that was done to the rear end of the vehicle. The driver who struck our client removed his foot from the brake and struck Ms. S. as she was inspecting the damage that he caused. Ms. S. received serious injuries which required a cervical fusion to her neck. The LAW OFFICeS OF JUSTIN G. MORGAN, P.A. discovered that the driver who struck Ms. S. had a $100,000.00 insurance policy for automobiles. Our client, Ms. S. had an additional $100,000.00 uninsured motorist insurance policy. Normally this would mean that Ms. S. could receive a $200,000.00 settlement. After considerable legal research, The LAW OFFICeS OF JUSTIN G. MORGAN, P.A. demanded two times compensation of the policy limits for our client because there were two accidents in this matter. The first accident occurred when the driver struck the car, and the second accident occurred when the driver struck her directly. While the insurance company disputed this claim, after legal research by The LAW OFFICeS OF JUSTIN G. MORGAN, P.A. both insurance companies agreed that double the policy limits in this case applied and we were able to recover $400,000.00 for our client Ms. S.
