2011/2012 Legislative Session Joint Use Agreements: Legislation passed
encouraging schools to open up their facilities, like gymnasiums and tracks, to provide greater access to physical activity. This legislation clarifies that the liability rests with the user not the school system.
Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety: Revised legislation which broadens the requirement that drivers exercise due care to apply to bicyclists and pedestrians.
