A heady mix of haunting sights, awe‐inspiring art and vibrant street life, Italy's Eternal City is one of the world's most beautiful and inspiring capitals. Rome today is one of the most important tourist destinations of the world, due to the incal‐culable immensity of its archaeological and art treasures, as well as for the charm of its uni‐que traditions, the beauty of its panoramic views, and the majesty of its magnificent parks. Among the most significant resources: plenty of museums (Capitoline Museums, the Vatican Museums, Galleria Borghese, and a great many others) aqueducts, fountains, churches, palaces, historical buil‐dings, the monuments and ruins of the Roman Forum, and the Catacombs. Rome is the 3rd most visited city in the EU: the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums are two of the most visited places in the world.

Rome, located at the centre of the peninsula, has a mild climate, with temperatures rarely reaching the extremes indicated above. Consequently, light or me‐diumweight clothing is recommended. It is advisable, however, to bring a raincoat, and an overcoat or heavy jacket for the winter which can indeed have col‐der peaks.

WHAT EXCHANGE STUDENTS SAY ABOUT US
“Even though you are so far from your own family in your home town, the ones you spend your exchange with, become your new family in here. The ESN activities are amazing, the board was even better! The city is beautiful and LUISS is such a nice, comfortable place to study. Walking down the stairs, seeing so many people you got to know in just a couple of months, makes it feel even more like home. Thank you for this experience that I will never forget!”
Riki, Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen ‐ NETHELANDS
“I really liked that even a highly‐ranked, modern business university such as LUISS managed to stay authentic and truly Roman and convey the real Italian "dolce vita" image: a campus that looks like a holiday villa of an ancient Roman family with palm trees and statues. The bar where you can sit in the sun, enjoying your espresso and cornetto, listen to LUISS radio, play kicker or chat with your friends. The LUISS Language Café that is an international meeting point and sometimes a peaceful island where you can relax and have a break from the university projects. The course offer is very diverse and the classes I took were all really interesting, dif‐ferent from the ones my home university provides: Fashion Management, Luxury Management, Tourism Management. I believe LUISS offers a great balance for business students wanting to study in Rome: the university is modern and the courses are up‐to‐date but they are undeniably related to Rome; I mean, where else should someone study about fashion, luxury or tourism than in the Eternal City which is famous for all these three areas?“
Dora, Vienna University of Economics and Business ‐ AUSTRIA
“Choosing LUISS was the best choice I ever made. Great campus, great professors, friendly local students, awesome city! “
Joana, Universidade Nova de Lisboa ‐ PORTUGAL

“LUISS University is not only a place to study, it is a place to live and to socialize. The environment is perfect, with a bar, a canteen, a language cafe, a garden and a church where you could study. You can pass all day long at LUISS... taking a lot of coffee (which is actually very good) and chitchatting with Erasmus and Italian students.”
Sahah, Université Laval ‐ CANADA
“LUISS has been an absolute pleasure, I cannot fault the experience. To best describe my ti‐me in Italy, I would use 'eternal.' My time here in Roma will stay with me forever. Eternally charming, eternally romantic, and eternally complex. With its verbose history, its culture so delightfully strong, youʼll never forget youʼre in Italy. This effervescent city has captured my heart. Having never been to Italy, and with over sixteen universities at my disposal, I was im‐mediately drawn to LUISS Guido Carli due to the location, second to its prestigious reputa‐tion. I also had a creative need to understand the way in which different legal systems wi‐thin the EU were built. I can honestly say there is no better feeling than reading about an‐cient Roman law, where it was first written! “
Nina, University of East Anglia ‐ UNITED KINGODOM
“Erasmus exchange at Luiss Guido Carli University was one of a kind experience which allowed me to not only study and deepen my knowledge, but also meet students from all around the world, experience the distinctive italian culture and start learning italian language. Great university offering a great programme in an amazing city!” Beata, Oxford Brookes University ‐ UNITED KINGDOM
“A pleasant environment, from the clean green and spacious campus, to the organization of the lessons. The professors seemed competent, and the ESN crew was positively dedicated to maximizing the whole Erasmus experience.”
Vincent, University College Maastricht ‐ NETHELANDS
“LUISS offers you a lot ‐ from interesting political events, to a broad choice of courses over a very active exchange community, that makes you feel at ease immediately. So I will certainly remember my time here at the LUISS University as one of the best during my whole studies.”
Alessandra, University of Zurich ‐ SWITZERLAND
