- If you are using Boot Camp, you will have to configure the F1 – F12 keys inthe Boot Camp Control Panel on the keyboard tab. Make sure the box is

checked- If you are using a laptop, you may need to hold down the fn key to access

your Page Up, Page Down, Home and End keys

- The Boot Camp Control Panel can be found in your Windows Control panel

or in your Windows Taskbar

- If you are using a laptop, you may need to hold down the “fn” key to access

your function (F1 - F12) keys and your Page Up, Page Down, Home and Endkeys

- This can be changed for the function keys in your System Preferences underKeyboard and Mouse settings (Keyboard tab)

- Check the box to have the function keys control software

- If your OS has Spaces functionality, you will have to disable the shortcuts inyour System Preferences in order to use the F8 and Ctrl + Arrow keys

- You will need to do this even if Spaces have been disabled

- If your OS has Exposé and/or Dashboard functionality, you will have todisable the shortcuts in your System Preferences in order to use the F9 - F12keys

Access the Menu Bar with Keystrokes

- To access the menu bar without using the mouse you must hold Ctrl and

press F2.- You may then jump to a menu with the keyboard letters and use the Enter

key, Spacebar or Down Arrow to access it.- This takes the place of the “Alt” key that is used in Windows to move to the

menu bar.
