Lake Dobczyce dam reservoir is

created in 1986 by damming the Raba through the

firewall, which is 30 meters high and 617 meters

long.

The reservoir has an area of 10.7

km² and a total capacity of 127

million m3.

Filling of the lake was

preceded by excision of

forests (70 ha), the

transfer of the town,

roads, cemetery,

schools and factories.
