Writing The students wrote an expository composition using the Giant T strategy. Language Arts The students used the CUPS strategy to edit capitalization, punctuation, commas, and apostrophe errors within a paragraph. Math The students used manipulative to solve basic division problems. The students used their multiplication facts to solve basic division problems. Science The students learned about forces and motion. - Monday-Friday: Read for 20 minutes & get a parent’s signature on the Reading Log.

- Monday and Wednesday: Reader’s Response over what they read. Follow the guidelines for writing a response. Use BME for nonfiction texts. Use SWBST for

fiction texts. (See attached anchor charts for examples.)- Tuesday and Thursday: Reading Menu
