BY THIS EXECUTIVE ORDER, I, the undersigned, Governorof the State of Hawaii, by virtue of the authority in me vestedby Section 171—11, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, and everyother authority me hereunto enabling, do hereby order that thepublic land and improvements hereinafter described be, and thesame is, hereby set aside for the following public purposes:

FOR PEARL CITY EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX, to be under thecontrol and management of the State of Hawaii, Department ofEducation, being that parcel of land situate at Waimano-Uka, Ewa,Oahu, Hawaii, and identified as “Pearl City Educational Complex,”containing an area of 85.650 acres, more or less, SUBJECT,HOWEVER, to, Parts 3 and 4 of Power Line Right-of-Way easements

covered by Grant of Easement: State of Hawaii to the HawaiianElectric Co., Inc. dated November 26, 1973, and recorded in Liber9630, Page 520 (Land Office Deed S—26151, and Building Setback,more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and delineated onExhibit “B,” both of which are attached hereto and made partshereof, said exhibits being respectively, a survey descriptionand survey map prepared by the Survey Division, Department ofAccounting and General Services, State of Hawaii, both beingdesignated C.S.F. No. 25,705 and dated December 5, 2018.

SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to the condition that uponcancellation of this executive order or in the event of non—useor abandonment of the premises or any portion thereof for acontinuous period of one (1) year, or for any reason whatsoever,the State of Hawaii, Department of Education, shall, within areasonable time, restore the premises to a condition satisfactoryand acceptable to the Department of Land and Natural Resources,State of Hawaii.

SUBJECT, FURTHER, that by the State of Hawaii, Board ofLand and Natural Resources submittal dated February 14, 1969,Item F—il, the State of Hawaii, Department of Education willinterpose no objection of the withdrawal of land for developmentby the State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources,Land Division, of land identified as “Parcel C,” containing anarea of 26.489 acres, and delineated on Exhibit “C” attachedhereto and made a part hereof, said exhibit being a survey mapprepared by the Survey Division, Department of Accounting andGeneral Services, State of Hawaii, being designated as LetterFolder 288.

SUBJECT, FURTHER, to disapproval by the Legislature bytwo—thirds vote of either the Senate or the House ofRepresentatives or by majority vote of both, in any regular orspecial session next following the date o~f this Executive Order.

This executive order does not authorize the recipientof the set aside to sell or exchange or otherwise relinquish theState of Hawaii’s title to the subject public land.
