9. RULESOFPLAYTheRulesofGolfandRulesofAmateurStatus2016asapprovedbyR&ARulesLtdandTheUSGA,theirinterpretationsascontainedinthe“DecisionsontheRulesofGolf”,thisConditionsofCompetition,VGAChampionshipHardCard2016andanyadditionalConditionsofCompetitiontogetherwiththeadditionalLocalRulesestablishedbytheTournamentCommitteefortheCompetition.
10. DRAWS&STARTINGTIMES10.1. TheTournamentCommitteewillmakethedrawsandthestartingtimesforthe
firstandsecondroundsandwillbepostedattheClubhouseandtheOfficialHotel.Suchpostingwillbeconsideredsufficientnoticeforinformationanddistribution.Thedrawforsubsequentroundswillbearrangedaccordingtothescores;thelowestscoreswillteeofflastfromthefirstteeandthehighestscoreswillteeofflastfromthetenthtee.TheCommitteereservestherighttovarythestartingtimes,atitsabsolutediscretion,beforetee-offtime.
10.2. TheplayershallstartatthetimelaiddownbytheTournamentCommittee.IntheabsenceofcircumstanceswhichwarrantwaivingthepenaltyofdisqualificationasprovidedinRule33-7:
§ Ifaplayerarrivesathisstartingpointreadytoplaywithinfiveminutesafterhisstartingtime,thepenaltyforfailuretostartontimeshallbetwostrokesatthestartingholeinsteadofdisqualification.
§ Penaltyforlatenessbeyond5minutesisDISQUALIFICATION.
11. TRANSPORTATIONPlayersmustnotrideonanyformoftransportationduringastipulatedroundunlessauthorizedbytheCommittee.
PENALTYFORBREACHOFCONDITION:
Twostrokesforeachholeatwhichanybreachedoccurred.Maximumpenaltyperround:Fourstrokes.Useofanyunauthorizedformoftransportationmustbediscontinuedimmediatelyupondiscoverythatabreachhasoccurred.Otherwise,theplayerisDISQUALIFIED.

12. CADDIEExceptforCategoryA,Privatecaddiesareallowedinthistournamentandtheplayermustregistertheirprivatecaddiepriortothebeginningoftheround.Otherwise,eachplayerwillbeassign01caddieforallcompetitiondaysofthetournament.
Privatecaddiecancarrytheplayer’sbag,usingtheclub’spulltrolleyorbringtheirowntrolley(motorisedtrolleyareallowed).
PENALTYFORBREACHOFCONDITION:
Twostrokesforeachholeatwhichanybreachedoccurred.Maximumpenaltyperround:Fourstrokes.Aplayerhavingacaddieinbreachofthisconditionmustimmediatelyupondiscoverythatabreachhasoccurredensurethatheconformswiththisconditionfortheremainderofthestipulatedround.Otherwise,theplayerisDISQUALIFIED.
13. DECISIONSOFTIESIntheeventofatiefortheWinneroftheOverallBestGrossofThe3rdVietnamJuniorOpen2018,theplayerstyingshallassoonaspossiblecontinueinahole-by-holeplay-offuntilthewinnerisdecidedbyelimination.TheTournamentCommitteeshalldeterminethesequenceofholesfortheplay-off.
Intheeventofatieforanyotherplacing,thetieshallbedecidedbyacount-backsystemofmatchingscorecardsinthefollowingorder:
a. Last18holes
b. Last9holes
c. Last6holes
d. Last3holes
e. Andfinallythelasthole(18thhole)
f. Inthecasetheresultstillinatie,theaboveprocedurewillapplytothepreviousround.
Note:Wherethereismorethanone(1)pointstart,itisconsideredthatthelast9holes,last6holes,last3holesandthelastholeisconsideredtobeholesfor10–18,13–18,16–18,andthe18thhole.
14. INDEMNITY/LIABILITIESInsigningtheEntryForm,participantsinthisChampionshipshallindemnifyandnotholdliable,VGA,theSponsors,theOrganizersortheHostClubforanylossordamagestotheirequipmentorpersonalbelongingsorharmoranyformofinjuriesthattheparticipantsmaysufferasaresultoftheparticipationinthisChampionship.
15. DECISIONS
IftheCommitteehasappointedareferee,his/herdecisionisfinal(Rule34-2).Intheabsenceofareferee,anydisputeordoubtfulpointontheRulesshallbereferredtotheTournamentCommittee,whosedecisionshallbefinal(Rule34-3).
